We order a bunch of appetizers and just eat, drink, and talk. We've never had bad service and the food is always delicious. The staff seems knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely be going back!
Stay away.

3/1/2010 My husband, daughter and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner out Saturday night at Christo's in Minnetonka. When we arrived at around 6:30pm there were many open tables. There was a couple and thier son standing near the hostess station waiting for a table and they didn't look any too happy. It didn't take long to see why. After we all stood there for about 5 minutes while several waitrons milled around and smiled at us and said hi, the host (maybe the owner?) FINALLY came and took the trio before us to be seated. Who knows how long they had been waiting! Then he took about 5 minutes to get them seated, started talking to some of the other tables, etc., while we're still standing there waiting to be seated! Finally, he started back toward us only to stop to rearrange stools at the bar and then stop and talk to two waitresses with his back toward us even though he was only about 8 feet away from us!! Finally we had had enough and turned around and walked out before we were ever even seated. On our way out my husband said "Thanks a lot, bye" and the guy actually turned toward us and waved and said, "thanks for coming." WOW, what rude treatment. We'll never go back there again. We went down the road to Davanni's and had a pizza instead. What a jerk! There's no way I would ever give that restaurant a penny of my hard earned money.
Excellent food, warm hospitality. I love this place. The food is great and authentic, and the service is excellent. I'm guessing from the reviews that there were some bumps in the early days, but I would urge you to give the place another try. It is one of my favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities. The owner is often there greeting people at the door, and the wait staff has always been pleasant and attentive. Some of my favorites are the Saganaki and Loukaniko appetizers. I love the Tyropita and Koupepia (amazing stuffed grape leaves), and although I rarely go for deserts, I always save room here -they are incredible. I've been to here many times, and always a great experience. I also love going to this Minnetonka location because we don't have to battle the downtown traffic, and there is plenty of parking.
Love this place. This is a wonderful little oasis in Minnetonka. Although there are a few other Christos locations, this doesn't feel like a chain and the owner, Gus, is often out and about. The bar area is sunny and the drink and food specials during happy hour are awesome, especially for this part of town. They have a gluten-free menu, which while increasing in popularity is still tough to find around here.
Terrible service. Don't go. Maybe the other Christos in town are better, but this one isn't worth going to. We arrived around five when there weren't many people there. The waiter was somewhat pleasant at that time but kind of arrogent. By the time our food came the place was busy and the waiter couldn't handle it. He just wanted to move his tables. He asked us if we wanted dessert to go. The service here is bad and ruins the whole experience. One of the worst dining experiences I've had in the twin cities area. The food not bad so its a shame that the service is so bad..
Average - they need to work out the 'bumps'. I waited 3 weeks for this place to open and work out it's 'bumps'. Well that wasn't long enough. Food quality was average. Service was terrible - after our food was delivered - no one came back and checked on us - ever. We waited, and waited and waited. Finally after flagging someone over and explaining that we have been waiting to order another drink - they didn't even apologize! check please! Not sure they should have opened this location...... skip it.
