OMG! Delicious!. I don't usually write reviews, but this place is awesome! Probably the best asian food I've had in the midwest. I only gave 4 stars because they didn't have sticky rice which is a necessity for me and the service was a little rushed, otherwise - FANTASTIC. Yummy cocktails too!

Editorial Review. Otho Restaurant & Street Lounge spices up the Twin Cities with delicious Pan-Asian fusion cuisine.

Great place to be yourself. The food is great! It is not what I expected out of an Asian restaurant. The dishes are complex with different flavors complementing each other. A buddy of mine from New York came here with me one day and he was surprised that a restaurant of this caliber existed in Minnesota. He said this place could compete with any restaurant in New York.

The prices are reasonable compared to other Asian fusion restaurants of this caliber. We are talking about prices between $12-$18 for entrees whereas I have been to other places where they are charging $30 or more for the same dish. I highly recommend getting the short ribs or the fried rice. I know that EVERYONE has fried rice, but not like this. The fried rice comes with smoked chicken and chorizo, which I was told is a spanish sausage. The flavor is absolutely amazing.

I love the atmosphere also. The customers here are unassuming and not pretentious one bit. I have gotten to know the regulars and most are successful people. They love it that they can be themselves here and don't feel like they have to flash their money. I am done with the club scene and other places where I have to dress a certain way. The appeal of this place is that the staff treats everyone with the same respect regardless of who we are and how we appear. I walk in with a tshirt, sandles, shorts, and a baseball cap and feel welcomed every time.

Great Atmosphere, Great Food. I stop by Otho 2-3 times a week on average and I find the relaxed atmosphere extremely enjoyable. The bartenders are quick, responsive and aware. You'll never be waiting on a drink or be ignored at the bar. Customer service at Otho is very good. The wait staff are great, the service as a whole is very prompt and courteous.

The food is delicious - very recently the menu was changed and they added a few new items that are top notch (NY Strip Tataki is one of the best new additions), as well as a new bar menu for those times when you just want chips and salsa or a sandwich!

The great food coupled with the relaxed and friendly atmosphere (the interior design is impeccable as well!) really make this place great - often times the owners are even chatting around the bar or serving customers alongside the employees which is great! I recommend Otho to guests from out of town, and those that live in the area absolutely MUST check this place out!

finally somewhere close. So I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon around 1pm for lunch. The relaxed ambiance was great for a mid afternoon quick bite to eat. It has a comfortable unassuming downtown vibe, which is rare when dining at a nice restaurant. Everything on the appetizer menu looked so unique that I had to order a couple items. It was just lunch so I didn't venture too far from my comfort zone...egg rolls and cream cheese puffs. I was pleasantly surprised with the spin on the traditional. The egg rolls had some type of mushroom that added a great new flavor and the puffs had a couple different cheeses and a fig?mmm. I went back for dinner that Saturday and the service was great again and I would suggest the juicy spicy chicken. One bad thing was I couldn?t try all the main dishes. Guess I?ll have to go back. Also, during dinner the dishes came out a bit fast after the apps but better than slow.

Interesting idea for restaurant - worth a try. We visited the restaurant for the first time on a blizzardy Minnesota weekend, and they were not busy at all. Very attractive "street lounge" that would be a good place for drinks. We ate in the dining room, a little too close to the kitchen. Normally, having a view of the kitchen is a good thing, but sitting next to it so that all I could look at was the kitchen seemed a little much. The menu was nice, very simple, and tactfully created to allow something for every taste, without seeming too overwhelming.
