Best Workout in Downtown. I've been going to 501fit G-Werx for a few weeks now and have really enjoyed my time there. The staff is incredibly friendly and the environment is condusive to a great workout. The group workout sessions feel really encouraging and positive. The instructors are very knowledgable and somehow find a way to make working out fun. Most importantly, the results speak for themselves and since working out at 501fit, I feel stronger and healthier. I would highly recommend 501fit to anyone looking to get into better shape.…
Group Strength All the way!. I can’t say enough good things about what 501 Fit has done for my health & wellbeing. When I started as one of their group strength clients over a year ago, I had never done strength training before in my life. I was 30 years old, 11 months post-baby and putting on weight. My physical at the doctor showed my blood sugar in pre-diabetic range. When I initially decided to join, it wasn’t for my health but to tone up for my wedding. That wonderful day came and went in April, 2011, and I had taken about a month off from my group strength exercises. I decided to go back and do the exercises when I returned because all my old upper back and neck injuries started hurting me again. So the second time around the goal was to not be in pain. After a couple of months of doing this, I wasn’t in pain anymore, but I met with 501 Fit once again to discuss my nutrition. With my crazy lifestyle, it was difficult for me to have enough energy during some of my classes. Phil brought some things to my attention that I could change. This was in September, 2011. After this meeting and deciding to make better nutritional choices, I have lost 20 pounds and toned up and went down two pants sizes. I have chosen this journey to now be a journey of health and 501 Fit continues to help with this. Paying for the classes is part of it because it gives me the accountability I need. When you go to their club, everyone knows your name; the people I work out with are great also. It is wonderful to work out with people with such varied hobbies and interests. I recommend 501 Fit to anyone who is serious, or in my case, sort of serious about getting on track with your fitness goals!…
Yes, It (G)-Works!. I have been attending group workouts at 501Fit for almost 6 months now. I can attest that the program works! The group class format is a good compromise between wandering around the gym with a friend and having an (expensive) trainer hovering over you constantly. Phil, Diana, and the rest of the crew at 501Fit are really great. They are good motivators and will push you to achieve, but at the same time won’t embarrass you if you need to start out slow. I should know - when I started I was =really= out of shape. With the help of 501Fit, I have lost about 20lbs and my strength and stamina have seen an order of magnitude of improvement too.…
I LOVE this place!. I love this place! I have to admit, I’m not super motivated to work out on my own, so I need the extra push and encouragement. I definitely get that from the trainers at 501FIT. The staff and clients are super friendly and the vibe is welcoming and unintimidating. I had come across them while searching for a personal trainer – as I’ve had one in the past and had great results. But, I just couldn’t justify the expense of 1:1 personal training. I’ve gotten the exact same results – if not better – with 501FIT, at a much more reasonable cost, and have had an enjoyable and overall better experience with them. The classes are small, they’re fun yet challenging, and you get to know people. My original plan was to sign up for three months just to get acclimated to working out again, but I’ve already signed up for my next three months and have no plans of stopping. If you’re searching for a gym, this is the place.…
Awesome group training classes. My partner and I have been coming to 501 fit for about 9 months. We take three 60 minute classes each week. I've never regularly worked out before--and I'm seeing major results. The staff is really friendly, the gym is never crowded, and the place is always clean. Working out in a group has been really nice for us. It keeps you on task and you end up pushing yourself a lot harder than you otherwise would thanks to peer pressure.…
