Comforting and Friendly. It has been a long time since my last cleaning so naturally I was a little nervous going in to Serenity. It was a great experience. It was beautifully decorated, the personal TV was great, and the woman who cleaned my teeth was wonderful. She was more than willing to explain everything as she was doing it and was always making sure I was comfortable. I would absolutely recommend Serenity Dental to anyone.

Disagree with Kim2206. I haven't ever posted a comment about a business, but I felt it was necessary because I have to say that I dissagree with Kim2206's comment. I was a new patient to Serenity Dental about 3 weeks ago (end of April, 2010) for a cosmetic consult (I need my top front teeth capped) and cleaning appt and I thought my cosmetic options were explained thoroughly. I think you didn't do your job to ask enough questions at your appointment. I also asked about Lumineers and Dr Ellie explained that it is a name brand of veneers. I didn't know there was a difference of "caps" for teeth--I assumed that's what I needed. I also asked about bonding, but it might last as long or look as natural as the veneers and I don't want to deal with repairs or replacement on my front teeth. I felt she is very knowledgeable in cosmetic dentistry and she showed me pictures of her own work. I wasn't really excited about driving to the lab for color matching, but I understand why it's important--if I'm paying that much, I want them perfect. Overall, I was very pleased with my appointment and have already referred 2 coworkers and my sister who have already made appointments for their cleanings.

Friendly, comprehensive, plenty of parking, and warm neck pillow!. Back in May I had a pleasurable experience with the doctor and staff at Serenity Dental. I thought they were friendly, affordable and most of all I was relaxed and comfortable. I appreciated that the doctor took the time to ask me questions to get to know me and my past dental experiences. I felt they truely went the extra mile to ensure my comfort throughout my entire appointment. They let me watch a movie during my cleaning. I really liked the warm neck pillow and warm lavendar towel at the end. I enjoyed all of it.

The office is very nicely decorated and doesn't look like a 'typical' dental office and I had no problem parking

Double the price (and insurance didn't cover most). Decent work, but recommendations also costly.. I have seen dentists twice a year for all my 32 years on the planet. I would say I have pretty decent teeth.

After moving I sought out a new dentist in Woodbury. By the time I left my bi-annual cleaning, I had a bill of almost $7,000 for work done and future work to come.

All my other dentists in the past (I move frequently for work) haven't mentioned the need for any additional work, but now I learned I needed veneers for my two front and two bottom teeth.

Before continuing with work I compared prices and got a second opinion. I learned that my teeth were fine, and the prices (for my dental exam, cleaning, and the veneers) were all double then any other dentist in the city. Instead of jumping straight to veneers, there are other options that weren't even brought up, such as Lumineers, and bonding.
