Poor food quality. Overall it was a very bad experience for us. The food was not fresh at all and the desserts were really really awful !!!! Horrible service too !
Love this restaurant!. This restaurant is becoming a favorite for my girlfriend and I. The buffet is awesome! It's very clean and the service is prompt and almost always great. We have had dinner there a number of times and they have live music on the weekend, which makes it nice for a date-spot. The food is always good too. I think this is the best Indian restaurant in the area.
Owners only concerned with $$$$. The restaurant was busy. The host said to wait in the bar and it would be 5 minutes. The smoke was overpowering in the bar. The host told us that we couldn't stand in the restaurant because we were in the way. We waited for 40 minutes. I went back to check, and of course the host said that it would be 5 minutes more. We waited another 30 minutes, our eyes are watering from the smoke and we can't stand it anymore. I'm not a wimp when it comes to this, as I go to smoky bars often. Right before weleft, I had words with them, and they were not at all apologetic or sympathetic. I can't believe that they actually thought it would be 5 minutes for a table when they told us that. Their food might be good, but I'm never going back to find out.
Great food. I really enjoyed the food. The portions are a bit small compared to other restaurants but sufficient nevertheless. The 'Hot' category can be quite hot especially if you are used to the milder food served in other Indian restaurants around town. I have been to most of the Indian restaurants in town and this one definitely takes the cake.
Best Indian in the State.
I thoroughly agree with the Minnesota Monthly Magazine (taste) that this is definitely one of the top 100 reasons to dine out in Minnesota, and worthy of the title "Best Indian Restaurant in Town" not only is the food to die for but the ambiance is too...the murals..the draperies..
This is the best in TOWN!
The Best !. I have tried almost all Indian Restaurants in the Twin Cities and this is one is the best ! I only hope they also dont degrade their quality as time goes by just like the others.
