Speechless

I am a mixed women with tight curly hair that is also very thick. I asked my stylist what she would suggest if having layers could help not make my hair so thick. Well she cut my hair telling me she was going to take out some of the bulk and she took out at least 40% of my thickness now i can barely put my hair in a ponytail it looks very stringy and i just don't know how else i can describe how i feel i'm very upset and not happy with the results at all. I want to call and ask for my money back.

Disappointed....

So, I had made an appointment at Phresh for an all over color. I was a blonde at the time and wanted to change to a medium brown/reddish for the Fall, which i have been doing every season for a few years now. I was so looking forward to changing my hair and trying a new hair color by adding some red in my hair this time around. My consultant barely talked to me & i was very surprised to find out that she did not speak English well. To me, this was concerning because communication was tough between us while I was trying to explain to her what color I wanted my hair to be, even after providing her with pictures. My hair ended up being an extremely dark brown, almost black, color with very deep red roots and ashy brown ends. The color was not even and I was very disappointed :( When it came time to style my hair, she did not ask me how i wanted it styled or how i wore my part, which is to the side. She just parted it in the middle and dried it stick straight.

Two days later, I made an appointment to come back and have my hair color corrected. The new consultant I had this time around was amazing :) she was super sweet and really made me feel like she wanted to correct my hair color and give me what i was wanting! However, again I unfortunately left disappointed. My hair is now a bright "carrot orange" color :( She attempted to lighten my hair in order to remove the dark brown and then re-dye it so there was more of an even amount of brown and red. Well, it is basically all an orange-ish color now with barely any hint of brown. Although I have gotten compliments on how my hair is now, it is still not the color for me & not what i wanted in the first place.

Overall, the service at this salon was good in the sense that all the girls are very friendly and everything, except for my first consultant, and the atmosphere is great :) I was just very disappointed in my first visit with both the service of my consultant and her coloring my hair and very happy with the service of my consultant the second time but still not the coloring of my hair :(

Great place!

I have only ever gotten haircut and once I got a full foil at phresh. I love that they have OPI products and the stylist recommended the davines 'love' product for my hair. Everyone is very friendly and they got out of their way to make sure you're comfortable.

I had a great pedicure at phresh when I first moved to the area. I really loved the building and the front desk staff was great so I decided to schedule my next tint and cut. I was really nervous seeing someone that I hadn't had a personal referal to but I did it anyway. It turns out that the person I saw and I a spoke completely different hair language!! It wasn't at all what I had expected, I got up the nerv to go back in for a corrective color, The entire staff whent out of their way to make me comfortable and two hours later I had the hair of my dreams! Thank you Phresh for rectifying the situation! I will be back in August.

• Pros: Great customer service, beautiful building!
• Cons: Dani doesn't work every day of the week and parking.

phresh is amazing!

I have been coming to phresh since it opened. I went to the salon before it when it was called jasmine and it has changed so much for the better. The staff is consistently in great moods and my services are always what i asked for and more. I must admit I was an aveda junkie for years but the products they offer have caught my eye and I think i'm in love. I never had a usual stylist until i met dani. She is so funny and is always up for changing my look and will tell me when it wont look good. i suck at doing my own hair and she has taught me to do the poof. I love seeing her and previously saw megan and dani recommended miranda and those two are the perfect pair for me. everyone is always having so much fun and the girl she works next to and her clients are always making convo with us. This is the perfect balance of feeling great, having fun, and being great what they do. thank you for getting it right!
