Not at all Tasty!. I had been here for buffet, but the food was not good, not much variety.Didn't like the taste of any thing as such.
Excellent food and beautiful decor. I stopped in this restaurant by chance one day for lunch and I have returned a few times since. A wonderful buffet of delicious Indian dishes awaits the lunch diner. While the cuisine is always excellent, it is the staff who make the whole experience very special by being courteous and professional. The prices are very reasonable and the decor is quite beautiful. The music adds a fine ambience.
Best Indian Food in Minneapolis! 10 out of 10!.
My girlfriend and I went there for Valentine's Day dinner. It was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had in my life, especially for the low price. Great service, great food, great atmosphere! Highest recommendation!
Also, get the naan...take home the leftovers.
The staff was very educated and also informed us of the kebab bar they plan on opening within the next few months. Should be amazing if it is even half as good as everything else. The whole menu is delightful. We will definitely be back. :D
Great Indian Food. The first time my boyfriend and I went here, we tried what I believe is called the combination plate. Don't order Naan- it'd be waay too much food. We both got these large platters of food. It was all very tasty. They are very very vegetarian friendly. I went for a buffet and was also happy with the food.
Enjoy the diet of Mahatma Gandhi at this South Minneapolis Indian restaurant..
In Short
Warm colors and fabrics draping the ceilings and doorways greet visitors at this South Minneapolis Indian restaurant. The ceiling and walls are decorated in the colors of the earth and sun; and the tables are draped in traditional Indian fabrics that double as tablecloths. Quiet, warm and inviting, this Indian restaurant in is dedicated to revering the life and traditions of Mahatma Gandhi. The family-owned restaurant serves traditional and delicious North Indian dishes, like tandoori chicken cooked to perfection in the restaurant' clay oven. But those seeking a spiritual adventure go for the menu items created for those on a strict Gandhi diet: spicy and inspiring vegetarian dishes that are good for the mind, body and soul and just as pleasing on the palate.
