A New Favorite Restaurant!. I recently tried Tiger Sushi for the first time. I had actually had some bad sushi for lunch that day, so really didn't want to go, but my experience totally changed my tune! It was amazing. From the moment we walked in, we were perfectly taken care of. The service we had was impeccable, right down to perfectly customizing our dishes and beverages to our taste. The food was amazing! Such a wonderful array of flavors and colors. My favorite was the Crazy Mixed Up Shrimp. Delicious! Since our visit to the restaurant, I have also ordered the shrimp to go. They do car side delivery, so it was perfect on a cold winter night to not even have to get out of the car! Tiger Sushi is definitely now one of my favorite restaurants!

best miso soup in the twin cities. I first started going there a couple years ago with this girlfriend I had (who actually introduced me to sushi) because she said it was the best place to go for sushi in the twin cities. Since then I've lost the girlfriend but I'm SO happy that I found this place. It's usually busy when i've gone there but the service is really quick so I've never waited. Like I said, their sushi is fantastic but if your a miso soup person you seriously should check it out. They also have this takeout service which is totally awesome. I strongly recommend this place to all those sushi lovers out there!

Excellent sushi, nice experience. Sushi was great, we sat at the sushi bar and watched the chef prepare the food. Wine prices were reasonable for a restaurant. We will be back.

Got Mayo?. I was in the the new Tiger because they say the chefs are great. The head guy, JR acts like he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. He concocted a couple of "special" rolls for me. The fish was good I think but I really could not tell due to all the mayo he put in. The music in this place sucks. And I think the chefs imbibe a little much. Worst off when I got the bill, I had sticker shock. $18.00 for a roll. never again....

Bright windows that extend floor to ceiling turn this chic Uptown sushi joint into a veritable fish bowl, housing the sea of couples, celebrations and after-work happy hour crowds who gather here for decadent meals seven days a week. The artful sushi comes decorated with ingredients that illuminate all colors of the rainbow. And a view-friendly sushi bar snakes across the entire restaurant, as tables and ceiling panels the color of soft sand give this restaurant a seaside feel on even subzero days. As an added bonus, the sushi chefs here take great care in turning each roll, nigiri and sashimi into is its own work of art, using things like tropical flowers, fruits and leaves as their medium.

WOW! It's an explosion in your mouth!!. Wow, I cannot wait to go back to Tiger Sushi II. I am a fan of the MOA location, and love that there are two places to go now. I crave this stuff like you wouldn't believe. I love every bite of what JR creates. Yummy in my tummy!! Wish they were open for lunch!!

Great food, wonderful service. I love this place. I started going right after they opened in the Mall of America. I lived in Japan and this food is very close. I go at least once a month and always love it. Ask for the chef to make you something for a special treat. You can't go wrong with anything. Try the guppies for dessert.

Best tasting and most creative sushi in MN. Tiger Sushi in three words: Creative, Fun, & Tasty. I have been to all the "best" sushi restaurants in MN; Sakura, Nami, Oragami, Fuji-ya, Koyi, Sushi Tango, etc. and I've only gone once or twice. If you want your average, plain, sushi; sure, you'll get what you want if you go to those places, and you wont be disappointed if that's all you're looking for.

Tiger Sushi really raises the bar for the whole Sushi Experience. The sushi chef's are AMAZINGLY TALENTED, I wish I could post pictures! J.R. and Victor treat their customers like they are their best friends, and put the effort, and creativity into every dish. Two of the most experienced sushi chef's in MN. The presentation is always phenomenal, new, and creative; even for the same dish. The taste and freshness is on par with the presentation; always excellent. To top it off, they try their hardest to make sure you get a dessert on the house. Some sort of creative arrangement of strawberries, pineapple, orange, mango, etc. It's always delicious and beautiful, the perfect way to finish off your visit.

TIP: For Sushi Lovers, just tell them to make you something special, or tell them to go crazy. You will be blown away; they are so inventive, and they know what tastes good together. For those who have never had sushi, or have friends who have never had sushi, let them know; they will create something special just for you that anyone will enjoy with fruit, shrimp, or vegetables, etc.
