Compliments to Josh and Brian!

by Baeley

I walked in and met Josh. I gave him a picture book with some charachters and he went fromthere. I wanted ' Sam I Am" from Dr. Suess and i wanted the Whinnie the Pooh characther, "Roo". He was able to put them together on my upper shoulder beautiffuly. I get compliments weekly and have referred mnay people to Josh. After 3 years, it is still full of brightness and is vibrant! Last year I got a tatoo in Atlanta, and I hated it. It was much more painful, it didnt have a calming atsmosphere and I somewaht regret not waiting to come back to MN to see Josh or Brian.

Beautiful results, cleanest place ever, great morals and values.

by ScarlettnFire

I originated from Harris, so as a "small town girl" I didn't even think to get my first tattoo, a simple red rose on my shoulder, anywhere but at Happily Ever After, and done by Brian. I got it on my 18th birthday and it turned out beautifully. At 19, (2003) it was the height of the "lower back tattoo craze" and I of course HAD to get a lower back piece and did so again by Brian. It again turned out beautiful and I went back to get more added the following week. I then was formally "moved in" to my Minneapolis residence and didnt want to drive all the way "up north" to finish off my lowerback piece which I had decided just wasn't big enough. So I went to see Pookie at Steady Tattoo in Dinkytown. I must say although he does EXCELLENT work, Pookies part on my lower back still raises up a bit when Im dehydrated, or sick or whatever. This is a result of putting the needle too deep into the skin whilst tattooing. This doesn't happen with Brians work.. And personally I think he just has more experience and a better care of craft. In the fall of 2005 I started working with Brians new artist-Josh- on a large scale angel. His drawings impressed me and I decided to go with him for my piece. We finished it in ONE:) day -five hours!- and it is STUNNING. I get complements on my work daily. I havent had work done by another employee-Adam- but I heard he was excellent too. I have nothing to say but wonderful things about Happily Ever After. I f anyone has questions or concerns please feel free to respond to this and I can try to answer them in the opinion of someone who has experienced these great guy's work. I extend this invitation to any parents who are wery of their soon-to-be 18 year old's upcoming pleading for a tattoo. My Mom checked out Happily Ever After before I got my rose and gave it the thumbs-up. Although she's not a fan of tattoos she knows I am and she approves of me getting them at Happily Ever After. A million gold stars to this place.

  • Pros: Great experience, beautiful results, Nice guys. TALENT
  • Cons: long drive when coming from Minneapolis.

Excellent Design and Skill

by mindpilot

This is one of the best kept secrets in the Midwest for tatoos. The owner has a long history with Acme tatoo in St. Paul (Artist, owner, etc..) which is considered by many to be the best Tatoo shop in town.

The tatoos I have had designed and made part of my body are among the best if not THE BEST from them!

This is an Excellent place that should be considered before you add something that will be with you Forever...trust me...you will be Happy you did!!!

  • Pros: Awesome Designs, Award winning, 30 plus years experience!
  • Cons: None!
