In Short – Pick your own strawberries in the summer, then go back in the fall for bountiful pumpkins, fall raspberries (through mid-October) and, of course, apples. There's also a petting zoo and a playground. Apple-filled foods throughout the season include donuts, fritters, pie squares and frozen pies. Cider, jams and other locally grown foods are available as well.
Great Family Outing!

Great place to bring the kids. Abundant activities- great raspberry and apple picking, hay rides and great caramel apples! The previous reviewer about it being expensive is way off base. The $2 admission is well worth it.
- Pros: Easy drive from the metro.
- Cons: None

I used to love Afton Apple. Unfortunately this year they charge a fee just to walk in the door. I think this is unfair and greedy. I will be looking for a new orchard for next year. Too bad, because they really had a good thing going. How on earth is a family supposed to do anything together? What about the people who can not afford this?
- Pros: great apples, fun, hayride
- Cons: Way to Expensive
