Customer service doesn't even exist here. So....because of my experiences, I completely disagree with the other reviews. I have visited this tack shop SEVERAL times and each time, I have been totally ignored by the workers there. Its not because they are busy, because the only other person in the store is usually someone they are leaning over the counter and having a personal conversation with. I work in retail, and I am disgusted by how I have been treated here as a customer each time. On top the that, they don't ever have anything I am looking for, and you WILL pay more for the exact thing you can buy down the street at Fleet Farm. I found the exact same grooming supplies (i.e. brushes, hoof picks) for at least 1-3 dollars less at FF...and thats just the small stuff. Maybe if they weren't so apathetic towards their customers at Pleasant Hills, I would have felt better about spending the extra cash. I'm not a person who writes bad reviews every time I have an unsatisfactory experience (I signed up for this specifially to write a review on this store). Don't waste your time here. I would give it a negative rating if it were possible.
Customer service can't be beat!. I must admit that I stopped at Pleasant Hills after a dismal shopping experience at the nearby Mills Fleet Farm - I found Pleasant Hills tack and apparel not only way, way better quality, but the prices were competitive and in some instances - cheaper (case in point horse shampoo and fly spray) - not to mention the awesome customer service! Next time, I'll go there first and save money and time.
