Big Daddy's Diner is reminiscent of the 50's diners, complete with Elvis memorabilia and the piped-in music. It's a very casual restaurant that probably gets most of it's business on Friday and Saturday evenings. Don't go if you're in a hurry; service tends to be on the slow side. There are many food options, but the stamples are of course, hamburgers, fries/onion rings, and malts. Kid's meals are $3.99 which is a bargain, but shakes are a bit pricey at over $4.00 each. PROS: 'Come as you are' type environment. CONS: Service often is too slow.

The food is outstanding. They have hand made burger patties, bakery fresh buns and the best malts in the Twin Cities.
