Fondue and a decent wine selection amidst cuckoo clocks, beer steins and Swiss wood carvings in this Stillwater landmark.

After reviewing the four reviews listed (from 2002), I wasn't looking forward to going to the Lowell Inn for lunch to redeem a gift certificate. I was surprised by the wonderful staff and the pleasant food. However, the crab cake did come out slightly black. Besides that, the experience was great. Gift this place a try.

Lowell Inn - Rip off!

We bought a $250 gift certificate for our parents (over 70) for Christmas so they could enjoy a fall visit to the Lowell Inn. The Lowell Inn changed management and will not honor the certificate. This is not a good representation of customer service if you ask me!
