GET A CLUE! Fire that bartend!. I have been to this bar a handful of times over the years. EVERY SINGLE TIME I go there- I have a bad experience. I will share my most recent experience. So I am out on a Saturday with a bunch of friends for a birthday party. The bar is OVER PACKED as usual... I step up to the bar and wait my turn. The bartender takes a look at me like he is about to serve me, then runs off to the other end of the bar without even taking my order. Fine- that happens. He finally makes his way back to me 20 minutes later. I order a jeremiah Weed and Lemonade, and a drink for my friend. He hands me a captain coke- and a lemonade. I voiced over everyone else and said- "I ordered a JW and lemonade- this is just lemonade" he replies- "NOPE!' Mind you I just got the receipt for this "drink" and it cost me $5....for a straight up LEMONADE. A JW & Lemonade has a brownish color- not YELLOW!!! This has happened to me numerous time now- and I have had it! I hate this place! AND the beer cheese soup is nasty now- just like the previous poster said. Yuck. HIRE A NEW BARTENDER! THAT GUY IS A @$#&*!!!!

Great tradition, OK place. This restaurant has been a staple in downtown Stillwater forever. The menu is very American, good for family dining or stopping in for a lunch. Nothing fancy. The beer cheese soup used to be the greatest ever, but I think the recipe has changed. It's barely worth trying now. Very young wait staff for the most part, but they do their best to please.
