Appendix Diagnosis Fail. I went to Stillwater Lakeview Hospital at the suggestion of my careline due to abdominal pain to the right side of abdomen. Said CT scan would be expected. Sent home after some routine labs, still did not feel right. My primary doc sent me to Regions Specialty the next day where they found out I indeed had appendicitis! Stuck with two hospital bills seems wrong, two thousand dollars later I was told it was probably acid reflux. I will stick with Regions from now on. Glad my appendix did not burst!…
Great Hospital, Great Care!. Not sure what happened with the first review, but I couldn't disagree more! This hospital is a gem. The staff, especially the ambulance paramedics, are all GREAT! I was injured in an accident and they arrived quickly and took care of me like we were old friends. The ER nurses and doctor were all so kind and compassionate. I received top notch care all the way through surgery and my recovery. I would recommend Lakeview to anyone who doesn't want to be "just another patient". If you do...then yes, take the "couple mile" trip to St. Paul to the HUGE hospitals.…
Stay Away!!!. Terrible! I do not recommend this hospital at all unless you are receiving care through the Womens Center. The hospitalists (and "patient rep" who works FOR the hospital!) want your money and don't care at all if you get better. This hospital turned a simple "routine" procedure into almost death and a 6 week ordeal because they just want to kick you out and have you come back so they can bill more $$$$$. If you need GOOD care go a couple miles into St Paul and be seen by competent doctors and staff.…
