St. Paul >Restaurant 11
Save yourself time and money. and choose another place. Our first time visit was horrible - both in food and service. My husband - normally not too fussy - had the worst New York Strip he's ever had. When the manager heard that he was unhappy with it, he came to our table and asked why then had he eaten all of it. Another person in our party had struggled through his, but my husband hadn't been able to eat even half of his. My chicken was marginal at best. Overall: overpriced, low quality, rude service and it was too dark.
Great view/marginal food. My husband and I went here for dinner last Saturday. Nice view and rotating throughout dinner was fun. But the food was marginal at best. Service was good, but the food was definitely not worth the price. $26 for a filet that tasted like a Burger King hamburger. Cute place but we won't be going back.
Take a spin on the Carousel!. The view is always amazing! You never return to the same restaurant depending on the season; the river floods, the snow, the night sky, or watching storms are awesome from 22 stories up. Spinning on the rotating platform insures a constantly changing view. The service is acceptable and the food is good. I would prefer if they would vary their menu a bit more but I have never had a bad meal there. Nice way to impress a date, combine that with one of the local downtown bars within walking distance like Gallivan's and you have an awesome night!
