unbelievably bad. There are three good things about this restaurant and only three: the staff are sweet, the tiramisu is fabulous, and the small space is atmospheric, though they do lay on the old Italian thing a little thick (they play "Godfather" non-stop on the TV for instance). The remainder is awful, truly disgusting. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES eat the chicken: it had a short unhappy life and suffered an ignominious end in a nauseating red sauce used for everything. For pity's sake, if you are going to use one sauce, work on it until it is decent! Ravioli was hopeless in a store-bought white gravy. salad pathetic (and how can you mess this up?) and garlic toast a mistake. Chocolate cake best forgotten. Better to stay home.

Bad NEWs. I have personally have known the Yarusso Bothers for 22 years and I cant believe they are still doing the business. They dont take pride in there food. Its not the same as Mr. Yarusso and

Grandpa Yarusso use to make.

It very small and crowded. There are a lot better places now days that could compet food and

ambience.

Ya Ya Ya the food is great!!. My boyfriend took me to Yarusso Brothers on our first date almost two years ago. His mother and father used to go there back in the their dating days . The resturant was quant and cozy. The food is indredible. We've been back several time since. We always order the meatballs as a meal, which are fantastic. I've bragged to several people about Yarusso's ever since my first time there. We recently ordered 2 dozen meatballs for a party and Yarusso's was very prompt with their catering. We were supposed to pick them up late in the day, but something came up and we had to pick them up early in the morning. They were very considerate and helpful. All their food is great!! Try it. You won't be disappointed. You'll be bragging about it also!!

Oh Yaaaaaaaa!. I have gone to Yarusso Bros. ever since I was four years old. My parents went there as kids..and so did my grandparents! They have the best spaghetti sauce that you will ever taste. I do not like any other spaghetti sauces since I have had theirs. The restaurant is old fashioned and the people working there are very friendly. One even knows my entire family by name. I would choose this restaurant over any other. I love it!!!!!! And you get the food really fast. And it is not expensive at all!

authenticly the best!!. Yarusso Brothers is the real thing and has been for many years. They are the real deal! They present their pride in sharing their family owned and run atmosphere with the best tasting, secret recipe that people have grown up comparing all other sauces to.

Different. This place is great. It's one of those places that you will actually "crave" their food after trying it. The red sauce is incredible. I have tried and tried to copy it...no luck. I even talked to the main cook at a festival last year and he didn't even know what Mike's (Yarusso) secret was to the unique tasting sauce! It's an awesome little restaurant...10 for sure.

In a rut. People in the area have been accustomed to that style of Italian which tastes like the same sauce is used on everything. Because it is a neighborhood, friendly place it tends to get the same diners. It's okay if you're close to it and hungry.

Quaint Italian Spot. I love this quaint Italian spot with such history in St. Paul. I always hate to give places like this such a high rating because I don't want it to be so packed, I can't get in. I visit Yarusso's every couple of weeks, and I love the food and prices!

Real Italian. The best meatballs in the Twin Cities! The atmosphere is very twenties.

Cheap for a reason. This Italian is cheap for a reason, the food isn't that good. I went here because it was rated so high by Citysearch. The sauce is unusual, and not a good unusual. The service was very good, but the food is bringing my overall score way down. I don't understand why this is in the voting for Best Italian when there are so many other good options out there.
