Although quality original paintings are for sale here, the real stars are the handmade frames..
In Short
This is a place to pamper your paintings. Since the 1950s this shop has turned out hand-carved and hand-finished frames, in styles ranging from simple and rustic to gilt and ornate. A variety of museum-quality mats and glasses also have their place. Minnesota artists, mainly the landscapes of North Shore favorite Don Koestner, are featured and a few antique prints are available.
