Customer since @ 1960. I was there the day they named the Sputnick! A great burger invented the day the Sputnick went up. My personal favorite is the Obrian. The Mulligan stew is great too! They attract a wide variety of clientel from street people to judges. The people watching is almost as good as the food.

RUDE Cook and Waitess! and...D I R T YYYY!. I have been to M Diner before and thought maybe they had an off day but after giving them 3 chances My entire family is fed up with the place. We won't ever go again! Do yourself a favor don't look around to closely because you will then notice how filthy it truly is and you will want to run away right then! lol second don't go if you want to be treated like a paying customer because you won't be, you'll be treated like an old hated uncle. We got there and had to wait about 15 min to get some stools to sit at, no biggie, then when they opened up the cook tells us to not sit untell the counter is wiped down, dont have a problem with that so we waited and he did nothing, the waitress did nothing and we waited some more so finally being sick of waiting we sat anyways to get out of the way and we did not touch the counter at all and I made sure we didnt and then the cook makes a rude comment " guess it dont need to be wiped then!" I have been seated at a ton of tables while they where cleared, whats the big deal !?!? then the waitress got mad because we didnt know what we wanted yet because the menus where JUST given to us!! GEEZ! if you can't handle working in the food/service industry then GET OUT of it!! dont treat your customers like crap!

Worse place to work. I worked for Mickeys off and on...why off and on you say! Well between the vagrents begging for money and cigs and dealers trying to sell you something and the management being okay with this action it was too hard to work there. I find that the owner doesn't care about cleanliness and that is a dead ringer for someone to get sick. There is grease dripping from the light fixtures onto the countertops. Ummm that can get into someones food!!! Not too good you guys! Just because I told the owners son (who couldn't keep his own restaurant going), to take the job and shove it I am no longer even welcome as a customer! That's no skin off my nose!!! I have better places to spend my dollar! They have some really messed up thinking!

The classic greasy-spoon dive.. I had the "$200 burger" at Mickey's. I call it the $200 burger because it was worth the 5 hour drive from central ND just to eat it. That's how good it was! Yeah, it's a greasy spoon, but the atmosphere of the place is what really makes it worth the visit. DEFINITELY not for the calorie conscious (I saw Mickey put in a cup of butter for a 3-egg omelet) but it more than makes up for it in taste and portion size. I didn't even mind the 40 minute wait to get seated. I will definitely visit this place again and again each time I visit the cities.
