In Short – The galvanized silver-moon motif fits charminingly into a street scene accented by twinkling white lights. Rich colorful murals, a well-dressed crowd and a blizzard of pretty plates make it a night of drama to rival the nearby Ordway Center. A series of courses unfolds in traditional Italian style. Entrees showcase trendy preparations and high-quality ingredients: fresh pasta with candied walnuts, dried cherries, radicchio and rosemary, and lobster ravioli floating in a buttery shrimp cream sauce. –

it was a good date night
by jcwilliams33
I enjoyed the meal, and so did my date. it was a risk because i have never been their, all i have done is read reviews on line like this one. i was satisfied and happy with the waitress and food. it was a little noisy, but not to loud to have a conversation. I did not use the valet service because of the reputation i have heard of them. we got out spending 60$. my date got a free dessert because it was her birthday, so that was nice. also, i went on a wednesday night at around eight oclock and it was pretty busy. i wonder what the weekends are like. Even though still busy, the service was wonderful and really injoyed my waitress.
- Pros: service, food, friendliness
- Cons: slightly noisy, valet bad rep
Excellent Pasta
by tennillej98
We went to Pazzaluna on a busy friday night and we were pleased with the level of service, the great food and the fun atmosphere. The only thing we did not like was the valet service. It literally took 15 minutes to bring our car around. I understand it was busy, but 15 minutes was a long time. We would definetely go back.
- Pros: Nice Atmosphere , Good Food
- Cons: Valet Parking
The Details on Pazzaluna
Save Time:
It's a good idea to make a reservation. Events at the Ordway or Xcel have a way of suddenly filling the tables.
What to Drink:
Pazzaluna is known for its extensive wine collection, which includes more than 60 reds, from Barbera to Dolceta. But those looking for more go for the Rose di Pesca martini, which is infused with peach bitters and a touch of tarragon simple syrup.
Happy Hour:
Enjoy happy hour Monday through Friday from 4pm till 6pm and again from 9pm till 10pm when taps, ultimate martinis and cosmos and the restaurant's famous margherita pizza are all half-price.
The Extras:
May through September, Pazzaluna features an outdoor dining patio that's great for soaking in the sun and people watching.
Know Before You Go:
Under a new chef in early 2009, Pazzaluna's famous menu got a bit of a makeover. Many of the same hearty and delicious entrees are still on offer, like walleye pike and filet mignon. But added is some lighter fare and always-delicious risottos, like the asparagus risottos drizzled with truffle oil.
