Waxing Staff Unprofessional

Waxing staff person, Amanda, is unprofessional. Amanda told me the names of people that I might know who also get waxed by her and then told people that I know that I get waxed by her.

How I remove my body hair is my business and I don't want to be approached by people (in public no less) and get asked about it!

I called and left a formal complaint with the manager stating that I felt like I had my confidentiality breached. Amanda called me to apologize, but stated several times that she didn't feel like she had breached my confidentiality. She mostly sounded defensive.

Too bad. Someone I trust gave me a recommendation for future waxing:

Would it hurt them be a little more friendly?

I was really excited to try this place, as it gets great reviews and looks very nice. I was happy with my haircut. However, I felt like a plague from the moment I walked in the door. No greeting from the front desk. No direction as to where to hang my coat, etc. My stylist, though skilled, had the personality of a dish towel and a condescending attitude to boot. Not the best traits when you make your living in a service trade.

• Pros: Nice environment, skilled stylists
• Cons: Employees act like customers are a bother.

fabulous place

Love this place. Pam did my cut and color, and did an absolutely amazing job, same or better than what I was getting at Spalon Montage for less than half the price!!! Would highly recommend her, super friendly and a great listener. Absolutely willing to do what I want, but will tell me if what I want won't work. =)
