Simply Wonderful!

I've been going here for pedicures for the past few years. I've been to quite a few other salons around town, even other Aveda salons and this one is my favorite. I love the historic feel, architecture and set up of the salon itself as well as all the people, who are very kind and thoughtful, even though I'm not cool or trendy and usually come dragging in in a dirty uniform, dirt under my nails and almost never remember to shave my legs. I've never once been looked down at or judged, even by the most trendy technician there. I'm always treated with dignity and respect no matter how bad I look! You don't get that everywhere, I know first hand! Now I've seen a few different nail techs, all wonderful, but then I found Emily. She's the tech for me!! She is not only a very down to earth and sweet girl but quite talented. Today I finally took the jump and decided to have her cut my hair for the first time. What the hell...have I been living under a rock? When did a simple scalp massage during the shampoo turn into the best scalp massage I've had, even during a massage? And, to top it off, like it needed to be or something, Monica gave me a wonderful, deep hand massage as Emily took her time working over my head...hell, I'll go back just for that!!! The cut was great and Emily LISTENED, understood and perfectly executed the cut, even coming up with a slight tweek that no one had ever thought of doing that made the cut even better for me. I love this girl! This is the first cut where I didn't walk out of the salon thinking "I'll just fix this when I get home" I love this place! Thank you Emily!! You are a great asset to your company :) As always, I'll be back!

Very Unhappy

So I decided to pamper myself and go to Estetica for a hair cut. I was refered to Kelly by a co worker who had been seeing her for a year. I arrived a bit early and enjoyed some Aveda Tea and the great aroma that filled the air. I was so excited to finally be away and to relax and it turned out to be far from it. I told the stylist exactly what I wanted. We discussed the cut and I thought we were on the same page until she began cutting and cutting and cutting. She kept on talking about herself for the whole time I was there and other stylists kept on coming in to interupt the cut by asking for permission for different things. Odd. It was a huge distraction and now I know why I left with the complete opposite than what I asked for. When I was checking out my stylist then pressured me to buy products and come back in four weeks and how i needed my appointment today. Four weeks will be how long until I get used to my new chop job. I felt like I was just some sort of routine and a dollar sign, rather than a person. Over all my experience was very poor. The only relaxation was sipping my tea in the lobby!

I really enjoy my new hair stylist vernita, this is only my second time seeing her, but she always goes over what we will be doing and ask if there is any thing I want to change or keep. which is very helpful to me because, As a full-time student i'am on a budget. vernita give me a very simple yet fun,stylish color and hair cut ! I get tons of compliments from all my friends and family, even my husband likes what she does :) she does a wonderful job I cant wait to go back. thank you Estetica!

I have been going to this salon for about 2 years and recommend it to anyone who wants to have great style for a fair price - all while being treated with exceptional customer service. My stylist is Molly. She is a gem and a rockstar at her job! I have high standards when it comes to hair, but with Molly I have never been let down. I have complete confidence in her and trust her opinion.

There have been times I have tried other places to appease a friend or family's recommendation, but I am always disappointed and end up running back to Estetica. Go here and you will want to stay! :)
