cozy friendly local. Trotter's is an organic cafe which sources local foods as much as possible. It is charming, has good food, and no pretense. A little earthy-shabby but a sweet place. Just had a lovely breakfast there.

Healthful breads and decadent sweets keep loyal customers coming back to this cozy St. Paul bakery.. In Short
Set in a turn-of-the-century building, this neighborhood treasure feels like an old-fashioned bakeshop. Inside, flower pots crowd the deep windowsills and vintage display cases are loaded with cupcakes, lemon bars and sweet rolls. Tables and mismatched chairs are filled with a diverse group of public radio listeners, college students and local moms meeting for morning coffee and talk. Regulars watch the monthly calendar for soup (white bean chili, Italian sausage lentil) and salad offerings (they change daily). Weekly sandwich specials include calzones and focaccia pizza.

A truly homey coffee shop. I can't believe I had not discovered Trotter's before. I love the feel of the place with the worn wood floors and big windows. I've enjoyed both breakfast and lunch there. The lunch menu can be a bit pricey, but the quality ingredients are what drives up the price. The bakery provides a tasty variety of healthy muffins each day. Grab an 8 oz. cafe latte for the perfect breakfast on the go. For lunch I would recommend any of their soups or hot sandwiches. The service is fast and the staff is helpful.

YUM! Good for your body and mind!. Homemade, delicious food made with natural foods. Friendly staff waits on you diligently. Great salads and sandwiches. Weekly specials. I love the soups and cookies. Nice bakery selection.

I feel good spending my money here.
