Awesome Photographer

I went to Steve for business photo. He took many wonderful shots and did a great job. I have also referred friends to him for their wedding. They were thrilled with him and his photos. I am happy to keep referring to this award willing photographer who just won the Photographer of the Year Award by MN Monthly.

Disappointed Clients

We hired Steve Rouch Photography for our August wedding and were disappointed with the results. He missed every bridal party couple as they walked to the altar because he was out of position. He failed to bring the shot-selection sheet that was filled out prior causing us to miss important shots and for him to take superflous shots. He failed to use his creative eye therefore capturing some poor background shots. The wedding party shots were not organized well and he did not capture the spirit of the day. In the end, we voiced our displeasure and instead of working with us to reach a compromise, he placed all the blame at our feet. He not only dodged any and all responsibility, he said he wouldn't change a thing.

So I just say move with caution. If things go well, great, if they do not, well expect to be blamed for his mistakes and oversites. He hides behind the signed contract and the fact he asked "if things are ok." And of course you're going to say "yes" because you have other things on your mind that day other than being photography coordinator... isn't that his job?

All our vendors stepped up and made our day wonderful, except one, and that was Steve Rouch Photography. We encourage you to look elsewhere.

Wonderful Professional photographer

We just had our entire family photos taken. 6 adults and 2 children. The grandkids were 9 months and 9 weeks old and my husband and I could not be more impressed with the patience Steve showed in working with our grandkids. We have some awsome pictures, not an easy task with a group our size and the ages of our grandchildren. My husband & I are so glad that we went to Steve. I was very impressed with the wedding photos he took for our daughter and son-in-law but this session surpassed those. Treasures I will always have and can share with others as his price for the CD (he gave one to each family) was so very very reasonable plus we will get a 4x6 of every shot he took and there are probably over 170 plus shots. I definitely recommend Steve Rouch to do your photo shoots.
