5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

Steve thrilled us with a great effort at our daughters wedding! I have never seen a photographer bring a TV monitor to a wedding before. Steve invited everyone to look at the monitor to see if we liked our pictures. What a cool idea! This made us all relax once we saw how fantastic he made us look. I loved how he checked in with us to make sure we were happy throughout the day. It felt like we were in a fancy restaurant with that kind of service. I have never seen this kind of service or artistry before from any of the weddings I have been at. I would recommend Steve to anyone!

Pros: Really checked with us to make sure we were happy. Let us see the pictures instantly.

We hired Steve as our wedding photographer after seeing him advertised at numerous wedding shops around the twin cities. Plus that fact that he was named photographer of the year made us think that he would be an excellent photographer. Now, we did get some nice pictures to choose from, and he did do some creative things with the lighting, however, some of the pictures are blurry. How can you be a proffesional photographer and not take clear picturs!? He doesn't know how to pose large groups for pictures (or smaller groups for that matter). Our family portraits are way off balance with uneven numbers of people standing and sitting, just makimg it look like a 10 year old posed the pictures. Our wedding party pictures aren't any better... half the girsl are standing a foot away from eachother, while the other half are pratically on top of one another. You would think he would notice the imbalance between the pictures, especially since he is a "master photographer." Also, he askes you to fill in, and mail him, a copy of a check off sheet of all pictures you would like done, or not like done. Well, don't even bother with this, becuase he obvioulsy pays no attention, considering some of the pictures we asked for he didn't even take. And we're so busy and our mind is on other things, that it shouldn't be the bride and grooms job to make sure he's taking the right pictures... that's HIS job, especially when we told him what we wanted. Even though we did get some good pictures, there were far too many things that we weren't happy with. I would not recommend him to anyone.
