I was recommended to Accolades by a friend who was just blown away by her experience. I had an overgrown hair cut and was recommend to see David. Accolades was a easy location to find and they have a big enough parking lot so I was happy I didn't have to worry about parking. I paid $54.00 for a haircut from David.. and it was beyond worth that price. Not only was my haircut outstanding.. but the experience I spent with David was by far the best. First off, David is one of the most hilarious men I have ever met. It was our first time meeting.. and he made it feel like we had known each other for years. He put me in a great mood and wasn't afraid to say anything.. which I like! Secondly, you get a mini facial when you get your hair shampooed... WOW I wasn't expecting it.. and it felt sooooo goood!!! If you are looking for a new stylist... I would recommend David!! He is very experienced and he is also a great time. You won't want to leave after spending time with David, PLUS.. You get a great hair do out of it!

I love accolades, when i first went there they were very welcoming and made me feel relaxed and at home. I got a deep hair mask done the first time i went as well as a trim off of my long locks and i couldn't believe the difference in my hair! I would definitely recommend this salon and spa for anyone looking for any type of relaxation as well as any treatment that you want done right. I had never gotten my eyebrows done before and i didn't know what i was missing while i sat at home plucking them. They did my eyebrows in less then 15 minutes and i had a whole new look. they shaped them to pronounce my face shape well and i got many compliments but no one knew it was because of my eyebrows! definitely go in and get some kind of treatment done! The staff is very welcoming, i personally preferred a girl named Alana to do my waxings. She knows what she's doing!

Great Salon! Easy to book an appointment.. you can call or go online! Always have special deals going on.. fun, homey atmosphere and I always can get in for appointments! Definitely a place to check out!

I'm not sure if I had the same massage therapist as the reviews below... but the massage I had was amazing! I got a massage from Shandra and it was very relaxing and I feel stress free! I will for sure be back in a month for another massage!

not the best massage experience. Had a 1 hour massage with a female therapist (unfortunately, I don't remember her name). Overall, I did not have a positive experience. I asked for less pressure, but the technique seemed to be "rough" and that didn't change. I felt as much pushed as I did massaged - in fact, I was holding on to the table and afraid I was going to fall off. Felt very sore for days afterward and not in the muscles that had previously been bothering me. Wouldn't return to this therapist even if they offered me a free massage!!

Great Cuts, Great Company. WOW! I've been to Accolades multiple times and always had a good experience, but I changed stylists recently and my new guy did a fabulous job!

I ruined my hair with a box dye last weekend so I went in and saw Josh M. Not only did he correct my color, he gave me the best cut I have ever had in my life! Josh noticed things about the shape of my face and the way my hair fell to get creative with my cut to make it PERFECT for me and my bridal shower this coming weekend.

I should also note that I have been growing my hair out for months, and I expected the stylist to chop the length as usual, but Josh was sooo considerate of my wishes that he was able to KEEP the length of my hair while still giving it much needed body and shape.

Throughout the service, I got a foot soak, foot massage, a mini facial, a scalp massage and a shoulder massage. Do not hesitate to get your hair done here.

Very Intense Massage. Worst massage experience ever. Apparently Accolades only has one female masseuse, and let me tell you a bit about my experience with her.

I met with the masseuse before the massage to "discuss my needs" and I requested she place emphasis on my upper back and neck. After hearing my simple preferences, she told me, "This won't be relaxing. You're going to be sore afterward." I was a bit nervous, but figured a strong massage might be just what I need to help with my work-related stress. The masseuse then proceeded to give me the hardest, roughest massage ever. I asked her to lighten up a few times but she was not particularly responsive. I even cried out "OWWWWW" 3+ times, which didn't even help. "Oh, that hurts?" She was digging her elbows into my butt, then grinded her forearms up and down my calves. She put scalding hot towels on my chest/back/face. She incorporated some chiropractic maneuvers, including popping the joints in my spine, fingers, and neck (which I was not pleased about, especially given that I didn't have any warning). She ended with a "sternal massage," which basically was her rubbing up and down my sternum between my boobs. Very awkward. When I finished my massage, I was slightly stunned and felt limp. Twelve hours later my back is bit sore now, particularly on the right side. I asked if this was a deep tissue massage, and she replied no, that is even deeper (!) and this is more like "accupressure." I am not the most assertive person (and tend to be "Minnesota nice") but I felt I did a good job of expressing my needs and pain boundaries, and these were not addressed properly. I definitely won't be going back to Accolades, and would not recommend Accolades' massage to a friend.

Angela: Best Esthetician in Twin Cities. I've been having regular facials for 20 years, but once I found Angela 8 years ago, I quit looking for anyone else. She provides a relaxing, highly-individualized experience based on her many years of training. I always feel in good hands with Angela. She does not push the products. Just provides the best service she can. I like that.

My NEW salon!. I have a confession... I NEVER write reviews, but I must after I experienced a day of bliss with my daughter at Accolades Salon and Spa in St. Paul. First off, I usually never buy deals off the internet, but decided to give it a try and purchased a facial, manicure, pedicure package for my daughter and I. Well what an experience! While I was getting the facial from the aesthetician Alcia, my daughter received a manicure, pedicure from Alex. Then we switched! And while I was getting the manicure, pedicure, she received the facial... It was fabulous! We really enjoyed the experience and know we will go back to Accolades again.
