Great experience here! The front desk was friendly and the salon has a modern cool look to it. I didn't know at the time.. but the owner was standing by the front and greeted me with a warm smile and just simply asked how I was doing today.. which was very nice to walk into .. considering the fact it was my first time there. I when I went to Accolades.. I had extremly long thick curly hair... that was ALWAYS frizzy. I decided to do the groupon for the blowout. I was kind of scared because after I had bought it .. I heard all the rumors about how bad it was for your health e.t.c. My stylist sat me down and explained that it was the actual brazilian blowout.. but one that was much better for me.. which was a relief... It still was considered a brazilian blowout.. just not as intense.

After we were finished.. my hair looked beautiful!!! Sooooo smooth and soft. I did these treatments for awhile after this.. until I decided to chop all of my hair off. (Which I got done at Accolades by Josh M.) I now have a cute pixi cut and I am obsessed with it! Josh is great! And the owner complimented me again while I was walking out of the door.. it all just made me feel beautiful! I would recommend him AND Accolades.

Always a great experience. I go to see Rick and he always does a great job. I have been going to him for so long that he knows exactly what to do everytime with out me having to say something to him. He was out for a little bit.. so I had too see Alex for a few appointments.. and she was very good and understood what I wanted done. I didn't have to worry about anything. Rick is finally back.. and I cannot wait to see him.

The only service I have gotten done there is getting my brows tinted and waxed. Both times they were good experiences. I got these services done by Alana.. and she did a great job! My brows weren't waxed too thin or anything... and when she tinted them.. they were the perfect color! I get tons of compliments on them.. so I thought it was worth a review. It was cute salon and I will be back for Alana to do my brows again! Thanks guys!

After reading a previous review about Kelly... I am so confused. Kelly is wonderful! I have been seeing her for years! She is beyond a senior stylist and I would never want to see anyone else. I think some people who comment very rude things about her are taking it a little bit too far... Kelly is worth every single dime I have paid! I have tons of friends who are in the beauty industry.. and all I have to say is that everyone does hair differently... if you don't like the way one person does hair.. then you find the next. Kelly has ALWAYS done exactly what I wanted and she is the most kind, sweetest stylist I have ever had. Kelly is great at her job.. and I would HIGHLY recommend her.

I purchased the coupon for a facial, massage, and pedicure. All three of my services were amazing and I feel so refreshed and revived! Accolades is a great atmosphere and I will for surely be back to enjoy these services again!

So, so experience depending on who you get as a stylist. I've been there twice and the receptionist and greeting from front desk was fine both times. They checked me in and was attentive like other places I've been to. My first hair experience there was great, which was why I returned. My stylist did a great job with my cut and I loved it. I was able to leave it straight or curl it and it always looked great. When I tried to make the appointment with him, I was told he was no longer there so I asked for a stylist with the same level/degree of experience. I showed up at the appointed time but was told I am not on the schedule. I remember specifically calling and talked to the receptionist, which was why I knew the stylist I wanted to see was no longer there and she ran through the names of other stylist I could see. She ended the call by reconfirming the time and date of my appointment. Not only was I not on the schedule but another person was scheduled at that time. Thankfully, she was only there for a min. 15 wax so they were able to fit me in. I don't know if this is why the stylist did a horrible job with my hair. It looked ok at the salon but when I got home I reliazed I paid $60 for a hair cut I could have gone to Cost Cutter for. My husband liked the bangs but I realized she never even touched the bangs. I asked for 2 inches off and she cut about 4 to 5 in. off. I know it's just hair and it will grow but until it does, for the next few months I will have to live with this hair but it so much shorter than I wanted that can't do much to it. I guess every salon has great stylist and not so great. Hope you are able to get one that will do a nice job. I may give this salon the benefit of the doubt and try them one more time but I would definitely make sure I don't get the same stylist again.

Horrible, terrible experience! I read the reviews below and scheduled an appointment with a 'senior stylist' for highlights and a cut. When I got home and combed my hair back, I noticed that I still had significant regrowth and black lines through my hair - it actually made my hair look greasy. Somehow, the 'senior stylist' also managed to give me the worst haircut I have ever had - way too short, uneven layers.

I had to pay $250 to have the color and cut corrected. The stylist who fixed the disastrous color said that the foils were placed wrong - very amateur mistake.

My hair is now so short that I can no longer pull it back - pretty disappointing considering I have a wedding coming up and planned on wearing my hair back.

Admittedly, I should have returned to Accolades before having my hair 'fixed' but I was so upset that I needed something done ASAP - and I certainly was not going to allow anyone at that salon to touch my hair again. I did contact them and was offered a free facial or pedicure for my 'bad experience.' Considering the fact that my hair is ruined and I paid almost $500 for the privilege (approximately $200 to Accolades and $250 to fix the damage), I would rather not return - even for a pedicure.

If you are new in town and need a great haircut -- schedule with Kelly. I had the same stylist for 15 years. Moving to Saint Paul meant finding someone I could trust. Kelly is amazing!

Recommend Accolades Salon and Spa for bridal parties!!!! They will get you all in, and they will even come in early to fit your schedule! Their stylists are very talented and their makeup artist will go on set with you if you want. I love Accolades!!

I was recommended to Accolades by a friend who was just blown away by her experience. I had an overgrown hair cut and was recommend to see David. Accolades was a easy location to find and they have a big enough parking lot so I was happy I didn't have to worry about parking. I paid $54.00 for a haircut from David.. and it was beyond worth that price. Not only was my haircut outstanding.. but the experience I spent with David was by far the best. First off, David is one of the most hilarious men I have ever met. It was our first time meeting.. and he made it feel like we had known each other for years. He put me in a great mood and wasn't afraid to say anything.. which I like! Secondly, you get a mini facial when you get your hair shampooed... WOW I wasn't expecting it.. and it felt sooooo goood!!! If you are looking for a new stylist... I would recommend David!! He is very experienced and he is also a great time. You won't want to leave after spending time with David, PLUS.. You get a great hair do out of it!
