Simply the best!!!

I went to Accolades for my first time and saw Alex. I was completely blown away by how amazing my color turned out! I'm a blonde, this was the first time I left the salon after getting my hair foiled that my hair DIDN'T feel dry and damaged. She also explained to me that by using a shampoo and conditioner called "Blue" I could keep my hair from becoming brassy like it usually does after a few weeks. Thanks for the tips and the AWeSoMe color Alex! See you soon!!

The 5 Star Reviews Must Be Fraudulent

Worst. experience. ever.

Paid for a 60 minute facial w/ champagne - was on the phone when I pulled into the parking lot so I knew what time I entered Accolades, then had to get checked in, walked to the room, was consulted on the service, left alone to undress, had the worst facial ever (skin not even evaluated under any sort of light before choosing the products, etc.), got dressed, paid, and was down the street at the grocery store all within 60 minutes of pulling into the parking lot.

Was never even offered the champagne, and when I called to complain afterwards about the poor service and receive a refund on my tip, the receptionist made me speak to the esthetician about the poor service which was extremely uncomfortable. They eventually agreed to refund my tip.

It has since been nearly 2 weeks and NO refund has been posted to my account.

I have heard that the positive postings on City Search are written by someone within the salon, and now I'm convinced that's got to be the case.

ALEX!!!!

I just recently visited Accolades for my first time. I saw Alex and oh my goodness was she awesome! She did the most amazing job with my color! She gave me a few different options for what with be possible with my color, and me being one who doesn't get their hair done very often, loved the idea of putting some of my natural color back into my overly bleached out hair! I also got an awesome pedicure while my color was sitting! I'm overly thrilled with Accolades and will for surely be back!! Thank you, Alex for making me beautiful, and thank you Accolades!!!!

Melissa killed it!

Its always really nerve racking going to a new salon. I had a really bad experience when the stylist didn't listen to me at all and I walked out with fried hair and the wrong cut! Melissa was awesome, she really listened to what I wanted, told me how to get my hair back into shape with options of doing so! She was funny, sweet, and treated me like I was a celebrity! My hair looks amazing with the color and cut she gave me and I can not wait to go back!

Disappointing Environment and Service

I read the reviews and thought I would try this salon as I was looking for a new place. I chose one of the stylists recommended for curly hair. I must have caught her on a bad day because she was not very kind, courteous and was rough with my hair. It was actually uncomfortable. She did a horrible job on my cut and didn't really listen to what I wanted. I was also shocked that they are rated one of the top salons in the Twin Cities as the salon environment leaves much to be desired. There is a plastic facade on the outside of the building that looks tacky and the inside was not appealing either. I was not offered anything to drink or made comfortable in any way. Very disappointing - I would never go back.
