My husband and I were looking around for a contractor to do my floor and I came across this place. When we went into their store initially, we were quite impressed with customer service as a man who is listed as "president" (according to the BBB) spent a lot of time explaining their work and their suggestion and such. I got my room measured and got a quote over the phone, and then he sent me a paper copy on my request. After comparing with two other contractors, we went back to this place, ready to purchase the floor.
That day, we had to sit down with his associate as he was occupied with another customer. This associate then told us that it'd cost $500 more than what we were told initially and said that "he (the president) didn't know what he was talking about." Needless to say, we didn't purchase the floor that day. 2 days later, my husband called the president and asked about this, he said that his associate didn't know what he was talking about and he was going to fix it in two hours, and that my husband should call him back after two hours!! You'd think he would call us back himself or deal with the issues on the phone right away if he had any sense of customer service.
I don't care who's screw-up this was, it is not right to give us a quote based on the measurement they did themselves and change it up later. The way they dealt with this was totally unprofessional. I went with a different contractor and I'm happy with their professionalism, customer service, and the floor they placed in my kitchen.
