We love the food at el burrito mercado, but beware they are not always open until 9pm like the sign says. We arrived at about 8:20 on a Sunday night and the mercado was already closed.

We were looking to give some out of towners a treat at an authentic Mexican Restaurant. But... 1) We made reservations, but they weren't honored. Apparently the person answering the phone doesn't know what's going on. 2) We were told we could eat at the cafe part of the market, but NOT told that we couldn't order beer or wine there, until it was too late. 3) The food was cold. 4) When one of our guests asked for guacamole she was told there wasn't any (what!!!? at a Mexican restaurant?) When a man in our party asked, they managed to find some. We were sorely disappointed in this restaurant.

I love El burrito Mercado! It has the best food ever! and they sell awesome stuff directly form mexico! Its kind of diryty but other then that its pretty great!
