Terrible service, no acknowledgement and very untimely. I have waited more than a half hour to even have a server acknowledge me, have had a server ask someone I'm sitting with if they needed anything and completely ignore me (and seen this done to other people), among other things. I tip well and still I get walked all over at this place. I have never been anywhere with service worse than the stadium in wbl. I am never going back.
Lack of Balls. During a softball tournament mid-August at The Stadium, I was the recipient of a ball gone foul, unfortunately, right into my windshield. After gathering team information and talking with the manager (sympathetic but not forthcoming in action), I have repeatedly called managers to no avail. I'm disappointed in the response of the restaurant (I didn't expect anything other than helping me contact the responsible party), and especially disappointed in the lack of integrity on behalf of the ball players. This is out-of-pocket for me, so it's not just a matter of "let your insurance pay." C'mon man!!!!!
I love this place! Great food!!!!. I have been here quite a few times and I am always impressed. Everything is wonderful. I will be back many more times!! The one cook is really hot & has a cute smile!!
need new attitudes. After the happy hour which aint bad, You you can take the building and the staff and flush them down the toilet!
Good food- but terrible service:(. Have eaten dinner there a few times- with family and with friends, both at the bar and in the 'dining area' and everytime you walk in the wiatstaff doesn't even acknowledge your presence, very annoying to have to approach THEM to get service. Then there is always the typical long wait for ordering, bill, to-go boxes, etc... As for the bouncers, I have never been in there during the late night hoopla- but during dinner (5-8 pm) they walk around doing nothing and act like a bunch of meatheads- total turnoff and very tacky when you're trying to have a decent meal... Other than that- the food alone would get about 3.5, maybe 4 stars... The Stadium has created a name for itself and unfortunately, could be much more successful if they just polished up a bit...
Horrible Place. I would never visit this place again!! The security there acts like animals!! They take their position of security as a license to hurt people for no reason! After they beat you, they refuse to call 911 and try to make you leave without calling the police. Friday four patrons were taken out of there by ambulance after they were beaten so bad that one was not breathing. None of the injured patrons gave any reason at all to be treated this way! If you value you life I would not visit the Stadium Sports Bar.
Deadly bouncers?. Terrible place, we went there as a group for the night and the bouncers used excessive force on my friend who was not even the cause of the problem, another group of extremely drunk individuals were talking with my friend and apparently the bouncers thought he was in their drunken group, instead of getting "Cool it" or "you need to leave" or any type of warning the bouncer just punched him right in the jaw, my friend collapsed and was knocked out, the bouncer continued to sit on his chest and nail him in the face and head with fists and elbows, by the time one of our other friends pulled the bouncer off my friend was not breathing! Then to make matters worse the bouncers/management WOULD NOT call 911 because if they get too many calls they could lose their license...thankfully there was a nurse in the crowd who administed CPR before the paramedics came....according to the paramedics the bouncers at this night club often use excessive force with patrons...even innocent ones as we witness last friday....no place i'll ever want to go again!
THE place to be!!! Wonderful Food, Awesome Service, Clean Environment, Friendly People & SO MUCH FUN!!!. I used to work at the stadium back in 2001; so I know first hand how *clean* this establishment really is. (One of the only places I truly *trust*.) I no longer work there, but still love going there to see all the friendly faces. I enjoy watching the ball games in the summer & fall. And love the d.j., the drinks & the dancing! It really is the place to be on the weekends! It's a mixed crowd and everyone is cool and gets along. But if you're not intrested in shakin your booty, and would rather watch the game on t.v. they have a million t.v.'s everywhere you could ever look! I've never personally gotten poor service once. But if I did, I know the manager's would do any and everything possible to correct it and make sure the customer is happy and satisfied with their experience. And just to add a note to some of the other reviews...The Stadium has recently underwent new ownership, and they have made a few changes; so if you or anyone you know ever had a poor experience in the past- stop in there again and give it another chance. I would bet you'll be glad you did! Oh and p.s. they have the best chicken quesadillas in town!
The Place To Be!!!!. We live in Illinois and EVERYTIME we visit for the weekend we are there!!! The food is Awesome, makes me feel like i'm back home!!!! The waitstaff is wonderful!! I've even hosted a party there and everything was PERFECT!!!
SERVICE, FOOD, AND FUN!!. The stadium is a fun bar with huge portions and delicious food. I play volleyball there twice a week, and always recieve excellent service. To the member that wrote that the servers stand around the service window and don't check on the tables: This is not true. The girls standing by the window are called food runners and expo's. Their job is to make sure the food comes out right, and then walk it to the tables. I know this because I am friends with them. Also, maybe the wait staff would check on your table more if you tipped them more than .25 a drink. I always tip very well, and in return recieve excellent service. 3 cheers to the Stadium for being everything that a sports bar should be.
