yes and no.. very cute home decor & i love the glasses they had on display! im getting the hammer glass shot glasses! SO PRETTY!! but everything is a little on the expensive side, and i was being followed the whole time by one of the workers. im 19 and its frustarating to think that just because im young, it DOESNT mean im going to steal. i have better values!!!!! my credit card didnt get run through (i have problems with it because it is bent and has been near magnets, etc....) and the lady that was "helping me" just gave up and said sorry cant do anything for this......WHAT???? im making a purchase at YOUR store.....and i know my credit card worked because i went next door to grandmas bakery and bought a cake.. over all liked the store, but didnt like the people that worked there.
LOVE this store...wish it was in Minneapolis!.
I plan special trips from South Minneapolis to shop here - I wish it was closer to home. Whenever I need a unique gift for ANYONE, I think of this store. It's good quality merchandise and I love giving gifts that I have purchased here.
I would never try to bring a stroller into this store though! I read a previous review and think it is unbelieveable how people feel so entiltled to go anywhere and be welcomed with children. I am not saying no kids allowed....but have you EVER worked in the retail or hospitality industry? Kids are fine, but people with kids can be a challenge! Check your entitlement at the door with the stroller (especially during an event like marketfest!! yikes!) and I am sure you will have a great shopping experience! There are many stores I am a little more careful in myself, as an adult, so maybe think of it that way....?
What I love most about the store is that they don't might "browsers" - it's ok to look and touch things. They give me plenty of space/time to shop and make up my mind. If you ever need to find something good for yourself or a as a gift - go to Good Things!
One of the BEST! If you love patina, etc. you will love it.
Great store for clothing, gifts, creative kids games, home goods. If you read the two reviews of people with kids, don't believe it. I've seen them be fantastic with kids, holding drinks and allowing strollers to be parked behind the counter so people can shop. It's crowded, that's why strollers are a no no.
Great Deals around spring and fall for sale season, particularly in unique clothing. Loved the store!
No Strollers Allowed!. I used to like this store and they do have very nice merchandise. However, the last time I tried to shop there (during Marketfest) I was very rudely told at the door that they don't allow strollers in the store. I've never been turned away from a store before because my daughter is along in her stroller - even in crowded antique stores and other similar gift shops like the Bibelot. So, I guess I won't be going back. I will spend my money elsewhere where my daughter and stroller are welcome.
Don't shop here!!!. I was in with my 2 daughters, and we were treated EXTREMELY rudely. Te staff was rude to us and many other customers. We came in during marketfest, and one of my daughters had a glass of lemonade. The lady at the door told her to leave. Not asked her, told her. If they don't want food or drinks in their store, they should post a sign. The service was slow and rude. I will never shop there again.
great displays. Great displays! Always changing and creative. Good things from pens to really unique and stylish clothing.
