Absolutely Fabulous Vietnamese Restaurant!!. Tonight my daughter suggested we eat at Ha Long Bay. I knew the restaurant has new owners and they're just starting out. I was a bit hesitant but oh my gosh, I just had the best Vietnamese meal I've ever had. I ordered the Bu (?) vermicelli rice noodles with shrimp. It was incredible, fresh, seasoned oh so well. It was full of large nicely spiced hot shrimp on top of cold rice noodles, shredded carrots, cucumbers, beans. The 'hot/cold' was something I've not experienced before. It was fabulous! My daughter had the Pad Tai and it was equally wonderful. I always order an egg roll and hope for the best. The egg roll was wonderful, super hot and fresh, with a light flavor and a gentle dipping sauce. My wife had the "Hu tu" (sp) soup and it was very flavorful. I made sure that I took a carry out menu because we either dine in or carry out Chinese/Vietnamese every Saturday night and I'm definately getting carry out from there when we don't dine in! Prices are very reasonable and the portions are large. It's not often I'm wow'd at dinner but Ha Long Bay in White Bear Lake definately wow'd me tonight.,

Buffet. This restaurant always has a buffet available. It has a small selection of items but they are always great ingredients and freshly cooked.
