Holy cow. Nov. 7th I was a part of a group of 8 women hanging for pizza and beer. We were the only people not at the bar, and were sitting at the large table under the speaker. One of us asked if the dance-club loud music could be turned down "a notch" and were answered with "sorry, we can't do that". No problem, we just moved to the other side of where the speaker was. As we moved the waitress light heartedly joked "hey ladies can you take your coasters with you, the boss keeps track of how many I use." Weird, but ok. One of us ordered a pizza to take home to her husband, but had it brought out with the other pizza and ate a few slices. When she asked for a box the waitress came out with a styrofoam container. She then asked. "Can I get a pizza box I can take this whole thing home in". Again, this is a 14" pizza with 2 square slices gone. "Policy is the pizza boxes are for take out only, our owner is very particular on this and there are cameras she'll see me on if I give you one." We asked for the person in charge and were told that it was "just us two employees". This waitress seemed scared of losing her job if she gave us a pizza box instead of two styrofoam containers. The pizza was AWESOME and my gin and tonics were perfect. But if your employees are afraid of you watching them on camera and keeping count of every cardboard coaster and pizza box they use, then you may want to rethink being a restaurant owner.

I want you to be nice until it's time to not be nice.. I ventured out to Macalouso's Roadhouse the other night and thought I stepped into a foreign land. What amazing atmosphere. Its a bit off the main drag and seemed like a destination for locals. It was a roomy place with Pull tabs and a large bar. This isn't white cloth dining but the pizza had that cruchy fried crust I love and was a little thicker than a thin crust. Maybe it was us, maybe we were obvious outsiders and we didn't fit in but the service was slow and it wasn't that crowded. The two bartenders/servers were busy hugging people and talking to friends, but I had to go to the bar to get a second round and the bill. Service comes and goes, but if you are looking for a good pizza, fun people watching, and road house flair that is reminiscent of Patrick Swayze aka "Dalton" you should hit up Macalouso's. You may want to sit at the bar though... or go enough to become a regular!

Best Pizza! Friendly People!. All I kept hearing is that this bar had changed and has the best pizzas, so I had to check it out myself. I was very impressed!! I had great service and everyone was so nice! I will definately go back.

hot pizza. it was ok nothing too exciting. nice location right off the freeway. i am not sure if i will go again or not
