awesome food!!!. This italian bistro is my favorite place to dine:) i love so so much:D The owner for 18 years who recently retired in november 2008 is my beautiful grandma and giuseppe my grandpa aka joe! please visit this awesome dining experience...you wont regret it

Italy in the burbs. This small gem is such a find!! The bread is out of this world!! This ristorante is exactly what my wife and me dinned at in Italy. Giuseppes is great for a nice romantic night. It has the music, the wine, and the food will take you back to the old country. We eat out a lot and this place has a family touch that feels comfortable, non-stuffy and yuppied out. Its simple and fresh. the owner cooks everything and will come out and talk with you if asked. We came one night is shorts and t-shirts and another nights dressed up to rock the town. Each night we were treated the same and felt satisfied with both experiences. You have to try this place there is nothing out there that compares.

Support a great local business. I ve been to alot of italian restuarants and this one is close to my home, locally owned and makes you feel like your in italy.

the food is great and at a good cost (ranging from $6.50 to 14.50)

they make all their own salad dressings, pasta sauces, and breads

its just relaxing and you can just picture the another Godfather filmed there

Fabulous Gem. Unpretentious Italian food. Out of this world bread basket and fabulous food. Cozy atmosphere. We've never been disappointed and absolutely love this place!

Great bread, excellent value overall, I love this place!!. I've been a regular customer at Giuseppe's for well over 10 years and have never had a negative experience. This is my favorite restaurant for what they do --- excellent Italian. The food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. You'll feel like you're in Italy.

We live in New Brighton so my preference is to call in a take-out order around 5 PM, pick it up, and eat it at home over a bottle of wine. We've dined in and had great experiences too so don't hesitate to do that, but the seating capacity can be tight in the heat of the rush since it is a smaller place, especially on a weekend night. During the week it isn't so crowded, but the food is always great.

To me, the bread selection is what is best. They have several varieties brought to your table when you sit down, and all are fantastic. I think the bread alone is well worth the trip. When we dine there, we always get there early to get the best seating and to get the complete bread selection.

The wine choices they have are also very good and the prices for any dish are very low I think. Two people can usually eat for under $20 because you would normally share some dishes, as the portions are big. Try any of their specialties of the day, the veal is wonderful, the pasta dishes are great. I've tried practically everything. My wife's favorite is the basic spaghetti which we get to-go about once a month. We then eat spaghetti for the next two days. If you get the spaghetti to-go make sure you order an extra tub of sauce, which is fantastic.

Overall great value, a gem of a place. The owners are delightful too. Truly Italian cooking it's as if you were in Italy, really. Try it, I guarantee you'll like it.

Perfect Little Restaurant. Giuseppe's is the best restaurant that I have been to in in nearly three years of living in the cities. The bread was fantastic, the salad and main course were top of the line and our server Ali was FANTASTIC! We were wowed by the atmosphere and the charm of the restaurant. We will definetly be returning.

Delightful dining experience!. Giuseppe's is a rare treasure in the north metro! The food is outstanding.... even better than some restaurants I've eaten at in Italy! The lunch specials are very reasonably priced and delicious! The pastas and sauces are all home-made and the ingredients taste extremely fresh. The owners are genuine, attentive, and complete the true Italian dining experience!

I love this place. You would never know this place is here if it were not pointed out to you. Very friendly staff. The food is out of this world! The home made bread is a true treat, you can even place an order for it 24 hours in advance to take home. The smaller seating area only adds to the exceptional experience.

Old-School. Giuseppe's in an old-school hole-in-the-wall with impeccable ambiance and quality that is hard to come by. Everything on the menu is home made. All entrees come with a basket of fresh Italian bread that has little treats like pepperoni baked into it. The marinara sauce is unlike anything you will ever find at a chain restaurant. If you are a vegetarian, you will have no problem finding something on their menu. They also have a diverse menu of imported and domestic beer and a variety of Italian wines. The service is excellent. The owners are very friendly and will come to your table to thank you for stopping in. They even gave us complimentary donuts. Highly reccommended.
