Best Vietnamese Food Ever!!!. This is the best vietnamese restaurant I ever been to! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEIR CREAM CHEESE PUFFS, EGG ROLLS, AND PHO! Everytime I go there I always order the cream cheese puffs. The service there is terrific! If you have been there a couple times they'll likely reconize you WHEN you come back. Vietnamese Homestyle. This is the place I have been seraching for since my Vietnamese neighbors moved away 20 years ago. The eggrolls are exactly what I crave. Average at best. Trust me when I say that I've been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants around the Twin Cities, and this restaurant is just average at best. Their menu is lacking some popular dishes that are offered at most Vietnamese restaurants, such as the broken rice platters and bun bo hue. On my first and only visit I ordered the special combination Beef pho and eggrolls. The Pho was missing some traditional ingredients and the broth had a really strong star anise flavor. The eggrolls were okay, 3.5 out of 5. But I've had better Pho and eggrolls at Vietnamese places in St. Paul, Minneapolis and even the new up and coming Pho mecca - Brooklyn Park. I live in Blaine and given the opportunity to eat some good Vietnamese food, I would probably avoid this place and head to restaurants which are located in the cities mentioned above.…
