not quite Manhattan. Byerly's cannot compare to the gourmet supermarkets in NYC, but it has excellent service and what it offers is of good quality. Stand-outs are the famous brownies (well, famous in Twin Cities) and the cottage cheese. But for true gourmet stores, one must peruse the ethnic groceries or wait for some enterprising Twin Cities person to rescue us....
