In Short
This neighborly pizza-and-subs restaurant is a sports lovers' haven, with its plasma TVs, numerous beer signs and Chicago sports team paraphernalia. But the casual, tavern-like vibe also draws groups of professionals, families and couples who sit in overstuffed booths to enjoy steaming deep dish. As the night goes on, younger crowds mingle while enjoying a selection of over 110 beers.

Know Before You GoPizzas always seem a little underdone here; if you prefer crisp crust to doughy, ask them to bake it longer than usual.

I've eaten here twice, and didn't care for the food. The first time I had a calzone, and the second time I had a pizza. Each item was way, way too greasy...and I am a person who loves greasy, Greek-style pizza! I don't remember the dough being particularly fresh, though it was hard to tell through the grease. On the other hand, the wait staff is very friendly and the beer selection is outstanding. If you are looking for a good Pizzerias or Italian restaurant, there are much better ones nearby. And if you just want a beer, I don't know why you wouldn't just go to any bar in the downtowns.

Old Chicago falls into the chain - Comfort food catagory. The pizza is nothing to oexciting and can be compared to Pizza Hut and Papa Murphy's style pizza. The beer selection is probably the most extensive in the entire city of all bars as it carries hundreds of tastes. The decor and environment is similar to being in a college bar or a h00ter's style. You feel like you're in a bar, not a restaurant. The dress is laid-back casual to business casual during the days. The place draws a younger college crowd at night. Food menu ranges from around $8-22. With 3 being Average, this place gets a 3, for it's environment and the everyday comfort food menu.
Pros: affordable, college girls to look at, super beer selection
Cons: nothing exciting about the menu, comfort-bar food, all locations feel the same/chain
