Ask for Chrissy! I think it mainly depends on the stylist you happen to get. I use a stylist by the name of Chrissy Weber at the Roseville Regis and I have always walked out of the salon beyond happy. She gives me great advice for cut style and product use, as well as beautiful highlights that I am always getting compliments on. While you may have had a bad experience in the past, I would suggest asking for Chrissy. You won't be disappointed.
Bad, Bad, Bad. After talking with the stylist at length about my hair type, what I wanted, and the bad haircuts I've had in the past I was confident it was going to be okay. I even brought a photo of myself in with the look I wanted. She totally botched my entire head. I have long thick hair and she thinned my hair out so much it was frizzy and looked like someone had been chewing on it. She also cut really short layers at the top of my head and totally cut all my hair out from around my face. When I went to a different salon there was nothing that could be done but to cut it all up to the shortest layer. I had over a foot of hair cut off. I think there are way too many stylists out there who are licensed and don't know what they're doing. I complained to the manager and she told me that the cut was right for my thick hair. Was she blind? It looked like someone just grabbed fistfuls of my hair and ripped the hair out. Awful experience.
bad highlights. I do not recommend Regis I had highlights done at the roseville locations and they turned out really bad. Manager very rude when correction requested.
