Ruby Tuesday

Extremely busy, but good solid American food. I have been to this particular location at Rosedale twice in the last two months. The first was on a weekday evening around 6 p.m. Having requested a table for two, I was told that the wait would be around 20 minutes. The wait was actually around 30, but that wasn't a big concern. It did allow my party to wander down to the local mall bookstore and browse for a while. Upon returning, we were seated in the back of the restaurant in a corner booth. The server was very attentive and pleasant without being obsequious which is a big plus in my book. We enjoyed the steak and lobster special (which may have accounted for the business of the place) and made a couple trips to the full salad bar. The food was great, right for the price, and the service was good. The place was packed, but I chose to go into it knowing it. If you want spicy ethnic food or presentations to knock your socks off, this is not the place for you. One last thing: on a second trip, a friend who is blind accompanied me. We were given preference to be near the salad bar and a braille and large print menu was waiting for her at the table. Not many restaurants offer such thoughtfulness.…

Tasteless, boring, bland food. Ruby Tuesday serves uninteresting, bland food. One hamburger tastes the same as the other. Even the menu descriptions sound flavorless. They try not to offend anyone's appetite, so they end up with flavor-neutral food. It's a cheap mall restaurant dressed up as something fancy.…

Healthier side of "Bar & Grill". A wide variety! You'll find the traditional American food, some Mexican, Asian, and Italian inspired dishes, an EXCELLENT salad bar for the lite eaters, and a kids menu including a drink! If you have a picky teenager, a toddler, a fussy grandma, a football player son, or a spice loving husband...This is the place to go. Something for everyone! You MUST try the ribs. They fall off the bone, and the seasoning is sooo tasty! AND the 2-for-1 drinks on cocktails...even my favorite -sex on the beach- and tap beers! My only complaint is that they only have 3 lite beers and then killians for the tap. Not much variety on tap, but 20 something different bottles of beer. Overall, I loved this place. I'll eat there every time I go to the mall. Service was awesome, so many friendly smiles, and a goodlooking staff too! Very reasonable prices.…

Delicious. A little bit of heaven for salad bar lovers. Fixings were fresh and included mixed field greens (my favorite). The fish was cooked with Cajun seasoning and was moist and tasty. My fiance had a rib-eye steak, baked potato, and fried onion strings and the salad from the salad bar. The steak was cooked exactly the way he likes it. Baked potato was soooo tender. He LOVED the salad bar.

Service was provided by a nice young man with a good sense of humor. The manager stopped by to greet us when he heard that it was our first visit to the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to find such an excellent restaurant in the mall!…
