What People Are Saying About Baja Tortilla Grill

In Short – Belly up to the intoxicating salsa bar, which runs the gamut from Minnesota red (ketchup-like) to the five-alarm salsa roja. Best by far: the fire-roasted tomato. The plump tacos are available either "Baja" style, with chopped onion, cilantro and salsa; or "American," with Jack cheese, sour cream, lettuce and diced tomatoes. Seafood fans go for the shrimp burrito, packed with a fabulous garden of char-broiled zucchini, yellow squash, red and green peppers, onions and lettuce.

Visit all the Baja shops and this one is the worst. Meat is often burn't, tortiallas are over-cooked or rubbery and they have stopped playing music. Of all the restrauants, the one on Excelsior Blvd has the most consistently good food - but dirty rest rooms. Would like to see a new one opened in Woodbury.
- Pros: Food, buritto's
- Cons: Counter help, consistency
