Good Budget Value. I'm rating the the Lamp Lighter as 4 of 5, because I feel that overall the girls are just as attractive as at the other clubs, and in some ways even more so. Also, the girls are all very nice, and if you decide you like one, she won't be giving all her dances to just customers she already knows, like one other club is famous for. Also, as mentioned in one of the other reviews, Lap Dances are Only $10 a song, the lowest in the state. The Lamplighter Loungee may not be as glitzy, as some other clubs, but you are also not paying an arm and a leg for every tiny little xxx thing. Cover charge when there is one is Only $5!!! If are a male, and you are"Out, and about" as the Canadians would say, I think this club may be the best Strip Joint value in the Twin cities area!

Finally, at this point, I have to whole heartedly disagree here with Gojo5oh! Cynthia is "Petite", and I think she is Beautiful! If her breasts are fake, I can't tell! There are no scar lines any where to be seen. Also they are not "lopsided". I think they are a great looking Matching pair of breasts. In my opinion, they may be one of the best looking pairs of Large breasts on display in the Twin Cities!

Joe Loves The Ladies. I was there a few weeks ago in the early evening and there's some new women there. I have to get to know them I Miss the ladies that used to be there as well. new faces are nice also. I'm older though 48 so I feel uncomfortable sometimes, I don't know why that is. I wish there were a few women in their mid 30's or older. I will go back sometime soon. Thanks for the kindness the ladies have shown in the past. wink wink

Sexy, fun, outgoing women.... As the only strip club left in Saint Paul, this club has no competition. There are a few very sexy women, but every dancer in this place is very fun and outgoing. My favorite dancers are Dawn, Nikki, and Anastasia. Dawn is a very funny gal and gives slow, sensual dances. Nikki has the young, innocent, porno girl look to her. She is a super fun and outgoing young lady. Her dances are also very sensual, however, she makes the dance very personal and enjoyable by keeping full eye contact, and she is very sexy and wild on stage. Anastasia is a great dancer as well. She is very sweet and she always remembers my name. Her dances are very erotic because of her sensuality, and this woman looks like she came straight out of a Victoria's Secret Magazine. If you end up making it out to the Lamplighter Lounge stay away from Cynthia-She is a short, stubby-fake blonde, with an extremely lopsided boob job. This woman is crazy, she dances like she is having a seziere, but if you like to talk dirty, then this is your gal. Another thing I love about this club is that there is no cover charge sun-wed. And when there is a cover charge it is only $5. Dances are only $10, which is great if you're like me and tend to enjoy several dances. I am going back tonight to visit my favorite dancer, Nikki. She is always a blast, and always has time for me, even though she is one of the busiest girls there.

I enjoy the Beauty and Smiles on the Ladies faces there. If your wiling donate money to women who work hard to earn a living, for themselves or college, while they put up with few people who harass them. Go there and spend some cash even if it is just to put a smile on a ladies face and I am sure the women there will put a smile on your face as well. enjoy yourself, we only live once. I hate wasting time on stuck up women around other areas of St Paul. So I go to the lamplighter for a few smiles and conversation. I do not like associating with married women at the lamplighter or anywhere though. I do not care what people say about this club, because I like the time I spend there. I do not need a 100 Million Dollar Club to have a good time, and neighborhoods do not have anything to do with where I go. because I look at the people not the buildings or the area. If your in you late 20's to 30 then this is the place to go. sure I am older, but just to see a smile on a ladies face, is worth more then words can say. if there's nothing sexual on my mind while I am there then it is not sin right.

There is one lady there that steals my heart every time I see her there. maybe I will go there tonight and see if she is there. It has been a while. last December 09 through January 2010 she's gone.

The lamplighter has food and of course liquor.

There are a few local place's to grab fast food and pizza as well as others in the area.

stale and gross. i lived down the street from this place. without knowing what it was, i went in. it is stale and not very classy. but what can you expect from a place like this especially in the location. the atmosphere is bad. but i guess if you're one of those low standard people who are cheap and/or poor, this place is for you. it needs a major renovation. those back alley clubs in san francisco are better and that's not saying much. turn up the style and the place will be better!

the day shift. The day shift girls are alot mellower then night girls, they are not afraid sit down and have a drink with you. Overall just a real chill place to get away during the day. You can ever get a little neck head and sholder rub from trinity!

Alcohol and Girls. Well i actually work here, and have for about 4 months and absolutely love it. The Lamplighter is located at the corner of rice and larpentur in st. paul. It is small, but it's definitely a blast. The bar is open from 11am-2am monday-saturday, and sunday i believe its 12pm-2am. The girls dont start dancing until noon monday-saturday, and 3pm on sundays. There is a cover charge of 5$ thursday-saturday starting at 9pm. Every thursday night after 10pm we have the amatuer contest where aspiring dancers come and try out! There is also great drink prices, and a happy hour from i believe about 230pm-630pm. Also on monday or tuesday (i don't work these days so i'm not sure which one it is) but there is taco night, where when you buy two drinks you get two tacos!! So now to the girls. If you're coming here do NOT expect "barbie" strippers, i.e. strippers with large breasts, small waists, blonde, and look like a s***s. no. we don't have that, well maybe during the day haha. (i'm just being honest the day girls are all blonde and same body, but they're not s***s) At night there is such a mixture of girls in there it's ridiculous. I mean i'm white, but we have black, mixed, puertorican, mexican, native, etc. Not only is there a variety of races, but our body types vary to. NOT EVERYONE IS ATRACTED TO THE SAME THING!! That's why we avoid the barbie strippers. There are girls like me, who yes i am petite but i dont have a big chest or blonde hair, but there are girls who have big chests, or small chests, larger body, smaller body, big butt, little butt. I mean there really are alot to chose from. Normally during the day there are about 8 girls, and at night we normally have about 22 girls. There is a DJ thursdays-saturdays starting around 10pm. The bartender during the day is chris, i don't know him because I work at night, but Brian works the weekend nights and he's awesome! We also have a bunch of bouncers. big white men. That stand around and kick roudy people out. when you walk into the club you automatically are in the bar area. There's a large rectangle bar and stools all around it. to the left of the bar is what we call the pit. The walls are lined with couchs in the middle is a bunch of chairs and tables, and on the far wall is two stages behind glass. Alot of guys hate the glass but it's the only way you can drink!!! Back behind the bar is a recreational area with pool tables and video games, and my favorite the vending machine. :) There also is a kitchen where they serve chicken, burgers, fries, shrimp, tacos, and much more. there is only one type of dance which is a couch dance which is 10$ for one song. THIS IS THE CHEAPEST IN THE STATE!!!! ooo yeah and a common misconception is that there is a VIP room. THERE'S NO BACK ROOMS. This isn't a dirty club. Oh and here's just a little tip, don't tip one dollar. At the least do five. because FOR REAL we're not a vending machine. And you don't want to be the one guy getting yelled at by a girl in 9 inch heels

Great new grill added-cheap place to eat while you get to watch the girls. The place is outdated but is do for a makeover when they move in the spring of 2007. They just added a grill and the food is very good and at cheap prices. The drinks are alot less then the other clubs. If you do not mind the girls dancing behind glass, this is the place for you. I like to be next to an open stage with more enthusiastic girls but to each his own-enjyed the burger!
