The day shift girls are alot mellower then night girls, they are not afraid sit down and have a drink with you. Overall just a real chill place to get away during the day. You can ever get a little neck head and sholder rub from trinity!

Alcohol and Girls

Well i actually work here, and have for about 4 months and absolutely love it. The Lamplighter is located at the corner of rice and larpentur in st. paul. It is small, but it's definitely a blast. The bar is open from 11am-2am monday-saturday, and sunday i believe its 12pm-2am. The girls dont start dancing until noon monday-saturday, and 3pm on sundays. There is a cover charge of 5$ thursday-saturday starting at 9pm. Every thursday night after 10pm we have the amatuer contest where aspiring dancers come and try out! There is also great drink prices, and a happy hour from i believe about 230pm-630pm. Also on monday or tuesday (i don't work these days so i'm not sure which one it is) but there is taco night, where when you buy two drinks you get two tacos!! So now to the girls. If you're coming here do NOT expect "barbie" strippers, i.e. strippers with large breasts, small waists, blonde, and look like a s***s. no. we don't have that, well maybe during the day haha. (i'm just being honest the day girls are all blonde and same body, but they're not s***s) At night there is such a mixture of girls in there it's ridiculous. I mean i'm white, but we have black, mixed, puertorican, mexican, native, etc. Not only is there a variety of races, but our body types vary to. NOT EVERYONE IS ATRACTED TO THE SAME THING!! That's why we avoid the barbie strippers. There are girls like me, who yes i am petite but i dont have a big chest or blonde hair, but there are girls who have big chests, or small chests, larger body, smaller body, big butt, little butt. I mean there really are alot to chose from. Normally during the day there are about 8 girls, and at night we normally have about 22 girls. There is a DJ thursdays-saturdays starting around 10pm. The bartender during the day is chris, i don't know him because I work at night, but Brian works the weekend nights and he's awesome! We also have a bunch of bouncers. big white men. That stand around and kick roudy people out. when you walk into the club you automatically are in the bar area. There's a large rectangle bar and stools all around it. to the left of the bar is what we call the pit. The walls are lined with couchs in the middle is a bunch of chairs and tables, and on the far wall is two stages behind glass. Alot of guys hate the glass but it's the only way you can drink!!! Back behind the bar is a recreational area with pool tables and video games, and my favorite the vending machine. :) There also is a kitchen where they serve chicken, burgers, fries, shrimp, tacos, and much more. there is only one type of dance which is a couch dance which is 10$ for one song. THIS IS THE CHEAPEST IN THE STATE!!!! ooo yeah and a common misconception is that there is a VIP room. THERE'S NO BACK ROOMS. This isn't a dirty club. Oh and here's just a little tip, don't tip one dollar. At the least do five. because FOR REAL we're not a vending machine. And you don't want to be the one guy getting yelled at by a girl in 9 inch heels

Great new grill added-cheap place to eat while you get to watch the girls

The place is outdated but is do for a makeover when they move in the spring of 2007. They just added a grill and the food is very good and at cheap prices. The drinks are alot less then the other clubs. If you do not mind the girls dancing behind glass, this is the place for you. I like to be next to an open stage with more enthusiastic girls but to each his own-enjyed the burger!
