Sports restaurant-bar draws fans who love the food as much as the game.. In Short
Using their original burgers-and-beer joint in St. Paul, Minn., as a base modl, this sports-themed chain is now a popular hangout for all ages nationwide. The memorabilia-loaded space is crowded with families and friends chatting over chili cheeseburgers, bourbon-glazed pork chops and large orders of soups and salads. On major game nights, the shiny wooden bar area is packed with small groups eyeing the monitors above while cheering or grumbling into their pints and fries.

Kid Friendly and Late Night Bar Hangout in One. Kids are King Tuesday nights have bingo and a magician. Kids eat free with every adult meal. All kids get a free ice-cream Sunday. Beer selection is great on tap! Large menu featuring giant salads, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, steak and seafood. Ask the server what they would suggest and what is most popular. Buff wings and waffle fries with seasoned sour cream is the specialty. Great seating if you have a party for 15-100 people, you can call and make reservations. They do take out pick up food. Many flat screen T.V.?s to watch the games. Small gameroom for kids with pinball machines etc. Outdoor patio and an indoor patio both with a fire place. Be warned the waffle fries are $2 extra. I think they are more expensive than most sandwich/burger joints BUT the portions are HUGE. Get there early if a big game is going on.

A Sports Bar - Not!. You'd think Champps is a sportz bar (and I suppose it is), but it really is a pretty good restaurant. I love the Portabella mushroom sandwich for a change of pace.
