yes.
mickeys is great!! they cook everything covered in butter and it is phenomenal! but its definitely not something i can do a lot because of all the butter! the staff is a bit unfriendly at times but i feel like that just adds more to the traincar oldschool restaurant on wheels.

Quintissential greasy spoon..
This place is a like going back in time. The place is very small and the cook is flailing about slinging hash like no tomorrow. The menu has all the tantalizing heart stopper items that will leave you wallowing on the couch for the rest of the day. This is a diner in the true sense. We sat at the counter and ordered burgers - they were large and impressive but not the best quality. However, the fries were good. Ventilation is poor so we accumulated a layer of grease while we were there and there is a fair amount of grime everywhere. The staff was very friendly. The patrons on the coarse side. The dining room is cramped so there isn't much room or privacy for bringing kids along. Worth trying at least once for an interesting experience.

St. Paul favorite offers the same menu of greasy burgers, malts and fries, but without the downtown location's dining car.

wonderful.
I love Mickeys. The staff can seem a bit unpersonal but it is definatly worth the visit. Their burgers are great and the hot chocolate is wonderful. It is always open 24 hours a day 365 days a week so it makes for a great after bar stop. The jute box at every booth is a a good old fashioned touch.

Taters O'Brien: good. Smoke: bad..
Title says it all. The greasy breakfast food -- especially the Potatoes O'Brien -- is great, but oftentimes the air is really disgusting.
