Happy Huskies. I have 3 active siberian huskies that have been well cared for at Mendakota. The staff is quick to answer my questions and my dogs are always happy and healthy when I pick them up from boarding after my annual vacation to Mexico. Dr. Hinson has helped me address hip issues in my oldest and was able to help me cure an ongoing case of worms in all 3 introduced by the new puppy. Thanks Medakota

Went the extra mile. A friend told me to try this vet, that he was exceptional and really knew a lot about pets. They were right! I took a client's pet in and they were extremely helpful and patient with me as well as kind and thorough with the pet.

Dr Hinson was very informative and truly educated me, not even my pediatrician took as much time to explain things to me ! Kudos to this great team of caring people.

Unfriendly, misinformed, and overpriced.. Wasn't treated courteously by front desk staff. They seemed pretty stand-offish and I work in customer service so I have a feeling for what it should be like. The advice given by the vet was for one cup of food a day for a 70 pound extremely active dog. Staff would not do exam unless dogs prior vet info was faxed from previous owners vet, it was, but they said they never received record when I chose to go to another vet because I was unhappy with services and needed Mendakota to fax it to new vet. Their policy stated that vacc's were given in front of human companion yet they took my dog to a different room to give vaccines. Said dog needed to begin vacc's from square one because he only had first round of shots, I came to find out he actually had first round, booster, and just needed his last round and he was fine. They wanted to charge me extra for vaccs he already had. Finally, they were extremely overpriced. Neuter was around 350.00 whereas after research, most other vets were charging around 200.00 My advice do not take your animal to this vet. Service was below mediocre.
