Rude Bartender Experience. I have visited Gallaghers many times in my life, My older sister play ball for this bar back in the early 70's and may 24 year old plays ball for them now, When visiting Gallaghers on Saturday night to enjoy the band and meet up with some old friends, we had an experience with the young female bartender who completely ignored us however waited on men who ordered. Therefore instead of having a wonderful time, we ended up going home, I did call on Sunday and talked to the bartender who I hope was sincere when he said he would get down to the bottom of it, otherwise I will be spreading the word and I happen to be an old west sider that has a lot of friends who will have my back.!!!…
Good Head on Taps. Great hospitality. I will scoop Traci up again next time I go there for the prime rib. Very friendly and over the top service, she served my meat well and I will be coming again.
This is an all around great bar. I love the neighborhood atmosphere of this bar. Everyone was friendly, and the food was outstanding. I will go back.

We're not going back to Gallaghers!. Great neighborhood bar with the exception of Woody the bartender. He's is rude and condecending. We've given it many chances but his behavior never changes. He acts really put out that someone would ask for a drink. My husband sat on a barstool and nails came through and poked holes in his pants. Woody, didn't even get rid of the stool or cover it. And then said "what do you want me to do about it". We'll take our business to the other West St. Paul Bars, but until Woody leaves, we're not coming back. We go out weekly and meet friends, so Gallaghers your not just losing my business, we'll meet all of our friends elsewhere.…
