Casual, quick Chinese cuisine located in nearly every corner of the Twin Cities.. In Short
Colorfully painted and situated in convenient metro areas, Leeann Chin restaurants are always easy to spot. While some locations have a few tables for those wanting to dine in, it's mainly a take-out business. Boxed salads sit in coolers; the rest of the dishes are pre-made. Popular with the lunch crowd, the place is usually packed at noon. The menu consists of fast takes on traditional favorites like beef lo mein and lemon chicken.

Avoid the St. Paul location. I live in the Cathedral Hill area so this is my closest LeeAnn Chin. Unfortunate, because it is also the worst one I have ever been to. They are always out of everything and I wait at least 15 minutes following my order. A couple nights ago I went in at 8:35. I know they close at 9, but I would expect to be able to get something at 8:35. When I ordered and the woman turned to the cook to tell him my order, he started swearing obscenities because he apparently wanted to go home. A manager was nearby and hear this but didn't apologize to me for his rudeness. I will make the trek to the Roseville location in the future where I am always treated nicely and served promptly.
