Consistently bad service. After several visits with groups ranging in size from 3 to 15, I have found the service to be excessively slow. This judgement is reached after 8 visits. The last visit was the last straw. An hour after ordering, our group of 6 had still not received food. They then informed us it would be at least another 30 minutes. We left. The only excuse offered is they have trouble keeping up with the carry-out and delivery orders. Maybe they need a separate location to do carry out and delivery service. The food is OK, but certainly not worth that kind of wait. The food is also a bit too pricey to make people wait like that.
Local pizza chain continues to bring in droves of families and friends with gourmet pies and pastas..
In Short
From sports fans whooping it up at the bar to kids playing at tables and high booths, Green Mill is a rambunctious scene. The decor is surprisingly nice, given the family-friendly vibe: mahogany wood paneling, decorative glass dividers, brick walls and artsy glass light sconces. Most everyone comes for the pizza, whether it's deep-dish, stuffed or on a cracker-thin seasoned crust. Other dishes include seafood pastas and hot Italian subs.
Great place to relax!. We love eating at the Green Mill in Eagan. Its cozy and the staff is always friendly and accomadating. Excellent pastas and pizzas!
A great Variety of food in your own back yard....
Went here for lunch. A treat for a group of ladies. Greated and seated in a very welcome way. The menu offered quite a variety. With a few questions to the waitress we were all able to find a choice that met each of our tummies desires of the day.
We so often plan these get togethers and sometimes drive as far an hour away.
I don't know that all Green Mills are as enjoyable as this one, but I highly recomend THE GREEN MILL IN EAGAN MN. Great service, nice atmoshere, and wonderful yummey food choices!
Very Sterile.
Sitting in this Green Mill struck me to be the same as sitting in any corporate chain establishment. Take the Green Mill sign off and you could easily put up a Champps, TGI Fridays, Sensers, Bennigans or Applebys one and make no further changes. This is a very corporate tried and true facility.
The pizza was ok, but leaned toward the doughy side. Plenty of cheese but it really didn't appear to have melted fully.
Staff was made mostly of over stressed high school kids.
Homey. The music makes a difference. Friday nights are usally the best. The bar is nice and cozy.
