In Short – Step inside this suburban steakhouse to see walls plastered with national clips, scads of awards and the loving testimony of dozens of celebrities. Caspers is the land of the $30 steak for less. Called the Steak of the Decade, it's slow-aged, charbroiled, perfectly cooked top sirloin. The steak is buttery smooth, splendidly trimmed and delicious. There are also other steaks, plus shrimp, chicken, walleye and ribs.
Great bar that stays open late!!!
by KelKel at Citysearch
This is my favorite bar in Eagan. The bar is completely separate from the restaurant and takes up the entire barn. Not a bit pretentious, and actually stays open late, unlike most suburban bars. Lots of regulars, pull tabs and huge tvs make this a great place to relax, or to stop in for a night cap before heading home. The late night happy hour features 2-4-1's on everything!
By the way, in response to the negative reviews about the restaurant, I actually think it has a lot of character. Not necessarily a place you'd want to take a first date, but definitely an experience of an old-school steakhouse.
- Pros: Huge bar with MASSIVE tv and great happy hour
- Cons: Food in the bar can be a bit greasy

Always heard good things about this place so decided to give it a try. Food is okay but steaks, seafood are overpriced. Sandwiches (burgers) looked reasonably priced however.
The grounds are not maintained and the interior has not been upgraded since the days dark walnut decor was the "in thing"
The place is a "has been" and needs new management that cares and is willing to start from scratch to bring the place up to what it used to be.
- Cons: Outdated
Casper's Cherokee Sirloin Room
by SarahSS at Citysearch
We had a 50th Wedding Anniversary party at the Casper?s Cherokee Sirloin Room in Eagan. We were placed in the hall which was well decorated and there was plenty of room. The food was hot and everyone was pleased with the ribs, chicken, and Au grotten potatoes. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing. We were so impressed with the service, they catered to every need. We definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!
- Pros: Service, Food, Help, THUMBS WAY UP!
- Cons: Parking Lot was slippery
