Stranger Alert!. Heard not-so-good things about this place but decided to give it a chance for something different. If you're not a regular, the male manager didn't seem to care. Cold atmosphere, plenty of open tables (which should-of been a sign). Saw male manager walking around doing nothing when servers were running around busy. Good food but would not go back. Saw party come in and be put in an area where other customers had to walk through the middle of. Can't pin-point why exactly I wouldn't go back, but wouldn't go back. Better restaurants in neighborhood.

Good Food, Bad Owner. Went there a few times. Stopped going. Has good food and good prices. However, saw the owner yell at waitresses. Went there for a work party once. Was promised the "back room", and when party showed up it was already occupied by someone else. Will not go back.

Brunch buffet at it's finest!. My fiance and I love to go to Al baker's on Sunday for the buffet. The food is outstanding, the service is great, it is never too hard to find a table, and the price can't be beat!

Best food around. Eating lunch and dinner at Al's is a pleasure every day. Huge protions of food , good prices, and excellent service in a great enviroment makes it easy to come back and enjoy.

Most Awesome Burgers. I love Al Bakers.. I love al bakers. their burgers are awesome. the service is good and their waitresses are fun.

Slide-off-the-bone baby back ribs are the hallmark of this Eagan restaurant and saloon..
In Short
Model cars, railroad signs and various other slices of Americana blend with homey wood and wallpaper for a comfortable dining experience. Those with bigger appetites try the sirloin steak and plump fried shrimp, broiled walleye or half-pound burgers. The New York-style breadsticks (deep-fried and served with whipped garlic butter) are almost popovers. The Sunday brunch buffet features all the usual suspects, including Belgian waffles, hash browns, bacon and sausage.
