Cannot Diagnose the Problem Correctly. I had a terrible experience at Firestone. Because the mechanics were unable to diagnose the true problem with my cooling system after mutliple visits, my car ended up needing an expensive repair to fix the damage that could have been prevented in the first place. I guess they are okay at doing oil changes, but they are not good at anything else. Even my brakes still have problems today, which have never occurred before my brake change. Bring your car elsewhere if it needs extensive repairs.

not so good service. called them about replacing the tires on my suv. They had what I wanted in stock so i set up and appointment with A@@@@@@. I dropped off my suv at 1230pm for a 1500 (3pm) appointment. When i called and set up the appointment i asked when they close and wa told 1700 (5pm) on sunday. I then asked if the SUV would be ready at the end of their day 1700 (5pm) and was told yes. I asked again when i dropped off the car if it would be ready at the end of the day and was told yes so i left the suv with them. at 1555 (3:55pm) i contacted them about the suv as i had nto heard anything back from them and the car hadd an appointment time of 1500 (3pm). during this call i was informed the suv would be done on time. At 1630 (4:30pm) i arrived to pay for my new tires and noticed the car still sitting in their lot with the old tires on it. I aquired if it would be done at the end of the day and was told by C@@d that it would not be reayd by 1700 (5 pm) that it would be more like 1900 (7pm). I told him I was told the suv would be ready at 1700 (5pm) not 1900 (7pm). to which he replied we are short staffed and will be working late. I said you have had the car 4 hours and it had not moved. SInce i was I had not stayed with the suv they pushed it off and missed the promise time they told me. I will not go back here for any service on my car or suv.

Great for our whole family. Our family has had nothing but great experiences with the group at Firestone. They are helpful and have integrity. We have had four of our cars there for tire, oil changes, services and repairs. They let us know what all needs to be fixed, as well as those items that can wait. They made suggestions to save us money by combining the "like" fixes to save the most money on repairs.

We will continue to use Apple Valley Firestone as long as we live in MN!

Bad Experience. two weeks ago I brought my Toyota Camry to this shop because of no cool air from the A/C. I told them there might be a leak based on my experience of last year: run out of freon after the recharge. They insisted to do a A/C Performance Check ($39). I Oked with that. After that they told me there is no leaking and added freon which costed $110 for the service.

The next day I noticed my car had no cool air again. I brought it back to the shop. Then they told me it might be a leak from the compressor. Why they couldn't find it the first time with a so call "A/C performance Check" that cost me almost $200? They told me they don't have the tool (with a freon sensor) that other shops use to detect the leaking.

I think they lost me as a long time customer!
